  1. Heeey! I'm booked up! I'm off to Cala D'or in Majorca on the 25th Aug with wor' battle axe. Staying at Ola Cecilia Apartments for a week, self catering, which came to £583.70. Chuffed with that and looking foward to getting away in the sun. http://www.cheapholidays.com/holidays/accom_result.php
  2. Sounds like Baba is gonna be given a 2nd chance, but no doubt he'd be 2nd choice whoever steps in. Wayne Bridge would be ideal, everything considered.
  3. Yeah, I noticed that part, sammy.
  4. Ahead of Ashley Cole? If that's what he said then it's obvious he's happy collecting his wage packet and medals he hasn't earned rather than playing regular 1st team football.
  5. I'm really hoping we lose him before then, tbh.
  6. I never even noticed that before. Thank god it's not Monday again.... Beye had Shearer in his back pocket when we played Marseille in the Uefa Cup two or three years ago. I think with Rozehnal here from PSG after having a good season with them Beye could jump at the chance to join us. Haven't seen much speculation around Wayne Bridge coming here, but one transfer at a time, eh.
  7. Speaking of Owen, when he's not injured...
  8. Its’ his trademark shimmy that he tries with one arm leaning out while the opposite leg does the same before charging the defender with his head.
  9. Hangeland is actually a central defender, but apparently can play as a defensive midfielder. He in central defence all season for FCK in the Danish premiership. Strong header, but doesn't look that fast. He playeds alongside Michael Gravgaard, that was a toon target earlier. IMO going for Hypia would be the wiser choice, instead of Hangeland. They have similiar qualities, but Hypia have at least proven himself in the Premier League, though Hangeland is alot younger Seems to be making an impact over there, and we need someone in our defence who can head the ball when it comes to set-pieces. I'm sure he'd do a job alongside Rozehnal despite his age, he's a big lad...!
  10. Beacause he's got long arms and long legs? ......Shola's got long arms and long legs....
  11. Looked like a great prospect two or three years ago and it's a big shame he never stepped up his game. His loss! Just hope the likes of Carroll, Huntington & Edgar rise to the challenge in a season or two to have some more local lads come through the ranks
  12. I'd like to see you's do better!
  13. Billy you have way too much time on your hands there LOL. I've been off work, sick. ....I've been bored.
  14. To be fair to him, he wont look that much out of place.
  15. EDIT: Hangeland, taking the ball off cheating twat. Could come in handy Aye, he's a dead ringer for Cristiano Ronaldo

  17. Owen/Ameobi? Viduka/Luque? Martins?/Gudjohnsen Barton/Zoggy/Duff Butt/Emre? Diarra? Dyer/Milner Bridge?/Edgar Rozehnal/Huntington/Ramage Beye?/Taylor Geremi/Solano Given/Harper/Krul A left-back, holding-role midfielder and another central defender will do, tbh.
  18. 28 weeks later. Intense, horrific, disturbing and a canny good watch, tbh. Probably just edges the 1st one, imo.
  19. Aye, it's a shame we didn't go for Henry when we had the chance....! for £16.5m he would have been a steal looking at the market today I agree, but point being we wouldn't exactly attract him. Our squad is getting stronger by the week with the kind of hard working quality players that we need rather than trophy signings. As mentioned before though, I'm sure there'll be one surprise before the season kicks off
  20. Aye, it's a shame we didn't go for Henry when we had the chance....!
  21. Wouldn't mind seeing Wayne Bridge join him too....
