  1. Richest man in Scotland Only worth just over a billion though He does donate a lot to charidee - smashing!
  2. Billionaire's usually aren't, ruthless, evil bastards - yes, idiots - no Sooner the better for me
  3. Would tend to agree, the 41% is owned by his holding company, who can say what he's got personally that he doesn't have to declare as yet. I wouldn't think he'd have to declare anyway, because the holding company is the entity making the bid not him personally. mebe's, possibly, potentially. Wasn't there some moves in the last few weeks where about 10% of the shares moved somewhere ?
  4. That is a bit fucking mental, I know Ashley doesn't like the limelight but to complete a £55m deal without even meeting is very strange. The scorn in SJP just highlights what little fish they are, people with that much moolah as Ashley don't get their hands dirty doing the business, their "people" handle it all. Not unusual at all IMO. Worked for a company once where the MD (double figures millionaire) ordered a new Ferarri, his PA bought it//did the deal on his behalf, he just set the ball rolling and the budget.
  5. I like his sister Leanne, she's hot and saucy sorry
  6. Faked his own death didn't he? CJ for Director of football Joan for a roasting (be a tough old bird now like)
  7. That the same fella who predicted Rossi and Sibierski? Not too impressed with the purchase of Barton if that's the case. Poor man's Gerrard, with an insane man's attitude. Yep
  8. Gent of Skunkers who predicted Allardyce ages ago, reckons Barton and Viduka very likely
  9. I bought three lots at the issue, so I reckon my "where do I sign and can I do it yesterday" stance will negate Leazes' show of love for the incumbent twat
  10. American immigration officers really are in a league of their own. Twats. I actually got a "nice" one last time I went to Chicago, they're twats in Turkey mind
  11. Thanks for the input folks Having looked around a bit more looks like we're doing California, Vegas and S Carolina. Should be good Regarding the immigration thing, I reckon immigration officers must be in some worldwide misserable bastards club !!!!
  12. Aye that's where I lived when I was there. It's class, and it's only an hour on the plane from there to Vegas (you can drive it in a day, but it's not pleasant at all). Lake Tahoe is 3 or 4 hours away if you wanted somewhere to go in the country, and Monterey and Carmel are day trips down the Pacific Coast Highway. In terms of stuff to do in San Francisco, there's the touristy stuff like Alcatraz, the cable cars, the bridge, and just wandering around the city. You can get the ferry over to Sausalito which is nice for a day out, or drive over the bridge and go to Stinson Beach which is another decent day out. Not much wild west there though. Lots of puffs which I gather is right up your alley. Be extinct by the time I get there in October man !
  13. The Carolinas made the list because as you say it's supposed to be beautifull The timeshare can be used anywhere in the world, basically. But fancy doing somewhere in the US (boring I know) but means I can fit in my freebie Vegas trip with me pal. Fancied Arizona from a wild west type of thing, deserts etc, and it'll be in October so probably not too hot. But not set on that at all. Was thinking of Tucson, but having read up a bit seems you shouldn't go out after dark California's a consideration but it's a mighty long haul getting there Memphis, Nashville and New Orleans are all worth a visit and driving between them is do-able an'all - there's stuff to do in Memphis (Graceland, Sun Records, Civil Rights Museum - they've converted the actual motel where King was shot into a museum), although tbh there's not much to do in Nashville but laugh at people linedancing in pubs. There's loads really, but I would put Arizona fairly low on a list of places to visit in the US. If you went to California, you could go to say San Diego and drive to Vegas. Or LA and drive to Vegas via Death Valley. You could go a bit out of your way into Arizona to the Grand Canyon on either of those trips too. You're probably only looking at 2 hours difference in flight time between California and Arizona too, I would have thought? Thought about Nawlins but not sure how it's recovered from that bit of wind and rain it had Deffo going to do Grand Canyon from Vegas, might check out San Diego as well, what about Frisco ?? you've been there a few times haven't you ?

  15. Aye, keep your good news to yourself and stop milking it I'm looking at a week in the south/south west of of France. I fancy paying a bit extra and renting a private farmhouse/pool etc. Looking at ones that sleep upto eight but like I say, dont mind paying that bit more because of the privacy and exculsivity. Love the idea of having my own pool for the week. Although a splattering on topless females certainly wouldnt come amiss. Perve
  16. SO the Mrs' Boss has a timeshare thingy and can't use two weeks this year and the superstar has given them to us to use as we want WHOOO HOOO So will likely go Stateside, current thinking is Week 1 Arizona and then South Carolina for a week (gonna slip a week in Vegas in between, freeloading with some friends) Any opinions ??? Ta very much
  17. Bye Bye Shola, Martins, Zog, Babayaro and Dyer (half out the door)
  18. I read somewhere that he'd said (whilst still at Bolton) he was going to retire in three years, hopefully 4 now seeing as that's how long his contract appears to be. I think he was well gutted at not getting the England job, and I'm hoping he's comming here with a "Fuck you, I'll show you what I can do" attitude. Worried though if he does look like he's turning the pigs ear into a silk purse, that with McLaren being such a knob that the FA may just not make the same mistake twice.
  19. Totally agree, I think the current pile of shit is going to take some time to sort out (more than one season) and I'll be happy even with some signs of improvement, particulalry in player application. That said if he can replicate the performances, that even the current shit could pull out against the top 4, when we play the shite, top 6 could be doable.
  20. 1.00pm as per official site http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...1025171,00.html
  21. Talkshite rumouring it's gonna be Ranieri for Citeh
  22. On talkshite: Interviewer "Do you think Sam was tapped up by Newcastle before he left Bolton" Gartside "I don't know and I don't care, Sam's my mate and Freddie's my mate, I wish them luck" Coppell Reportedly on Radio Berkshire "Sidwell is definitely leaving Reading but NOT for Chelsea"
  23. Don't agree, yes they've been shite but without Tevez West Ham would have been more shite Fine was laughable, should have lost points, that's what usually happens in leagues when an ineligible player is fielded. Mind you my judgement may be clouded by the fact I hate fucking West Ham
