Are the drinks included? Gotta be pretty slow on consuming the beer otherwise you'll quickly drink yourself into debt

As Ewerk says, I reckon Torres/Mascherano arriving & Henry leaving has brought them a lot closer in terms of wages, but Arsenal are still miles ahead on the pitch. tbf Mascherano was already at Liverpool when those figures were produced and given the odd deal he was on, it's fair to assume that they were already paying 100% of his wages. I'm guessing Torres & Henry's salaries cancel each other out. Apart from that the only movers I can recall at Liverpool was Voronin in and Bellamy out (Bellamy likely to have been on a higher wage than Voronin IMO).

It was still all Souness' fault you know.... all these problems he's had with clubs since he left Newcastle is all purely coincidental. Shame - brilliant footballer on his day - just hardly ever arsed.

But you just know they cost MILLIONS OF POUNDS OF TAXPAYERS' MONEY According to the article on the BBC, they've paid him a one-off fee of £35,000 aparently.... He's a fucking mug!

Britannia has been on British coins for centuries hasn't she? Was definitely on the old penny pre decimilisation. I have no issue with 'change', I just think the designs chosen look particularly shit. The design of the £2 coin for instance was effective IMO as it covered different technological discoveries.... These designs to me were thought up in about 5 minutes.

With Taylor??? Needs to be alongside Faye tbh.... Steven Taylor wants to make sure the door doesn't smack his arse on the way out....

Should have replaced "What's" for "When's this" then shirley? -
The penny drops! Jesus wept...

Tbf if our goal difference was in the plus (or even not in the minus twenties*) I wouldn't be too bothered. Under the old managment, signing a player on that money WOULD have been an issue. Under Ashley, I doubt it is.. Our problem these is not the wage packet, its attracting someone to the club. We may have to take a leaf out of Pompey's books on this one and sign a couple of players on big pay packets if we want to move up the table me thinks....

Going by the last couple of years........drinking! -
May only seem a minor thing but the dropping of the numerical display of the coin is an interesting point. Easy for us to read 'Fifty Pence', 'Ten Pence', etc... but anyone visiting this country without a grasp of the language may have a problem.... Or is that half the reason?
-
Are Liverpool subsidising that in some way? I sincerely hope so. It's still a loan deal isn't it ? He signed permanently for £6m back in July according to soccerbase. Liverpool still lost £8m on him......ouch!

Given how much Gaydamak is worth, it doesn't surprise me in the least....

Seriously? He'd be the best centre-back at the club. By a country mile....... Carry on playing with Gmail Custom TimeTM khay...

Too busy flogging NR loans to loan sharks isn't he?

9 years? WTF were you using before that Monopoly money? The 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p & 50p (with the exception of a few limited edition 50ps over the years) haven't changed in design since they were first introduced. The £1 & £2 change each year... Looks fucking awful to me, over modernised them - might as well have gone the whole hog and called it the Euro. If this story had been released yesterday, i'd have called April Fool.... Didn't live in this Country good point...

He's no Franz Carr like.... but I know what you're getting at. Gillespie & Ginola were effective because not only could the corss the ball, they'd mug their respective full-backs on pace first. Bentley/Cole are the types of players who need to beat the defenders on skill alone. Wouldn't exactly say Ginola was of your Linford Christie varity though. True... Ginola tended to use the 'Klinsmann roll' rather effectively to gain an advantage.....

you know it makes sense.....

What the fuck has that got to do with a private jet going from Biggin Hill to the south of France? I suppose they died long before they hit the ground as well did they?

As others have said the 4-3-3 is just Kev making do with what he has, doubt he'll persist with it. Agree totally... I fully expect KK to be looking for a long-term replacement for Viduka out of the same mould as Sir Les. Couple of decent wingers and I feel he could drop Owen into a similar role to what Beardsley used to do for us. The defence is still a concern although with Faye & Beye I think we've got decent foundations to build on. Enrique has shown promise in recent weeks but the jury is still out tbh. Neither Cacapa & Rozenhal have really adapted to the Premiership (although KK hasn't really worked with either so who knows) but IMO Steven Taylor is the most over-rated player we have.

bullshit - along with Berbatov, I think he's top of the shopping list for each of the top 4. He's proving himself in the Prem - minimum risk... I'd love to think we could attract him but out of our league IMO... Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea definitely wouldn't take him. He's not good enough for them, not by a good distance either. Liverpool is a possibility.. but even then I wouldn't bank on it. I think a lot of people see a player excelling at a lower club and they assume that this player would benefit from playing for a bigger club. I think Bentley wants to move because Blackburn don't share his (or Mark Hughes') ambition. We clearly do. I think you'd be surprised... Reminds me very much of Rob Lee in his younger days - showed tremendous promise when he was on Arsenal's books and I just think he'll get better and better. IMO he's a far better talent than SWP (even when he as at his peak).
