Get well soon. It's a shame the last year of his reign up here went a bit sour....I remember how loved he was when I moved up here..... In his pre-match talks the whole pub would go silent and hang on his every word. At the end, everyone would cheer and/or laugh at some ridiculous turn of phrase he'd summoned.

Played his hand poorly.....turned us down, showed he was willing to leave his present club, then misses out on the top job...... SUCKAH!!!!!!! (I'm sure he's a nice guy really )

All we can deduce about Roeder is that he's managed to do as well as anyone could have been expected to do. A few games could have been seen as the inevitable upturn that normally occurs after a bad manager is sacked, but to sustain it for the 15 or so games he has is impressive. I don't imagine any other manager in the world would have managed a better run of results with the fit players we have....this makes the next appointment trickier ironically. Any poor results under a new manager will quickly be compared to Roeder's good run. If he can achieve these results WITHOUT key players, I'd love to see what he could do when some of our star players are back in the squad. I think he's making it very hard for the next manager, especially as he will still be at the club, a situation which doesn't often occur. I wasn't keen at first, but in the absence of a stellar manager (Hiddink, Hitzfeld, Wenger etc), I don't think we should replace success for the sake of it.

This is one of the theories that managers spout that I have the most trouble with. To take darts as an example....you spend day after day trying to hit that inch of board worth 60....followed by doubles/bullseyes etc. The more you do it, the better you get. Of course when there's a crowd it becomes harder, but to suggest that muscle memory is of no use is frankly bollocks IMO.

That was magic..I was watching on Sky and shouted like a madman when that one went in...God knows what it was like in the stadium.

I make karaoke tracks for a living and when I get the chance I also do a bit of background TV music, though most of it is used abroad....but I write songs too....I'm trying to get a publishing deal but it's hard going...other than that I'm STILL making an album independently. So much can be done without record companies these days that it's worth a crack although it's a lot harder when you're having to do it in spare time rather than with an advance. I really appreciate the kind comments everyone...

I used Logic...it sounds rough cause I rushed it but I recorded the instruments myself.....I'll remix it when I've got time so it sounds a bit fuller and punchier. Thanks for the "props"!
