1. He acted like a petulant child. For God's sake, he's supposed to be a grown up. If I went round kicking desks everytime something went wrong for me at work, what do you think people would say? This is the perfect illustration how people think that it is acceptable for footballers to behave below the normal levels of common decency. I may talk shit at times, but I find you highlighting that particualr sentence astounding. 151421 If you screamed "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!! FUCKING GET IIIIIIIIIIIN!!!" and ran to the corner of the room and did a robot dance every time something went right at work, I suspect your colleagues would have something to say too. Are you getting how being a professional footballer and being a medical writer doesn't really bear comparison? It's nothing to do with common decency and everything to do with things being taken in context - he was annoyed and he showed it with a petulant strop. It looked a bit silly, but I wouldn't have said it was outside of the realms of decency or anything. 151426 A ridiculously well made point
2. For FUCK sake. Another loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong shit season ahead. Great!
3. Still only worth 6m though......interesting that his value hasn't skyrocketed. Maybe someone else will come in for him and that'll change, but still. Double whammy for Souey though...we qualify for Europe and Bellamy gets signed by a big side......he must be oh so proud.
4. I've had to put down my tin of herrings, I'm laughing too much
5. Yeah, I actually thought Rio did a pretty good job of presenting too, but he remains, as ever, a cunt.
6. These are my feelings...I just don't see the point in being pessimistic at this point. We didn't get Hitzfeld, Hiddink or O'Neill, largely because Shepherd hasn't heard of them and if he had, Shearer wouldn't allow it. The next best thing therefore is to go for someone who knows the club and hasn't put a foot wrong during his time here. Believe me, I'd have preferred Hitzfeld, but apparently it was all just a betting scam.
7. Yes, but track records obviously aren't infallible...I'm hugely impressed by the way he turned us around with the resources his predecessor had. Luque came with a good reputation and has so far failed to deliver, Roeder came with a less impressive track record and has delivered. I think until Roeder has a run of bad results it's pretty unfair to criticise him. I also think Renton is forgetting that we aren't going to get a "big name" until Alan has his bite at the cherry.....
8. Our manager's nowt to shout about either. 147862 Based on his impressive record of getting us out of the shit you mean? Not sure why you're down on him already tbh.
9. Never rated him much, oh, now go, walk out the door, don't turn around now, you're not welcome anymore.

Ruud Gullit

Luckily he is his own worst enemy...he's like a pretend man
11. I didn't see the build up...were they friendly? (referring to the suggestion that Shearer's presence put O'Neill off becoming manager)
12. 146800 So good they said it twice Glad to see the back of him tbh...I'm sure we can do a lot better things with the wages he was supposed to be on.
