My feelings towards people up here were more positive before I moved here permanently. I support NUFC because my Dad does and he instilled in me a love of the club. Since I came to matches at SJP, I was amazed at how unwelcome I was because of my southern accent. I have met a few really nice people up here, but there really is a lot of prejudice towards people with southern accents. All the Geordies I've met have all been great people. 49up is the latest documentary following the lives of a dozen or so people from around the country. They have been filmed every 7 years since the age of 7. I stumbled on it when I was 13 and they were all 28. It's a very interesting documentary and well worth a watch. The second part is next week at the same time.
