It shows O'Neill likes Brits to be the majority makeup of his squad, and it shows Brits have transfer fees which are massively inflated and not worth what clubs pay. Having said that he's done a decent job.

Undoubtedly. At least in terms of winning the election - in hindsight, they might end up wishing they'd lost it and condemned the Republicans to having to deal with the fallout, because it's only going to get uglier. The Dems could have triumphed in 2012 and become unbeatable for a generation. But them's the breaks, I guess. You could look at it that way - or you could look at it like Obama will get the longest honeymoon period of any President in recent history because of the economy and Wall St crash. He will have his critics from the very beginning like FOX News, but most publications and media outlets will go easy on him, or at least I think they could, because there are no quick fixes to the issues facing Obama and his new administration.

No, nothing to do with race imo. The Republican party self-imploded no thanks to the radical ideology of the neo-conservative movement who have been running the show the last 8 years. They lost the vote of the minorities (eg latinos) and the younger generation who were were sick to death of the borrow-and spend policies that funded things like war. The Wall St crash came at the most perfect time too for the Democrats. If the Republicans don't want to sink further into obscurity, they will have to move toward the center. It''ll take more than one term for them to recover from the Bush Administration's blunders. I agree that John Kerry, Hillary Clinton or Al Gore could have won this election. But that isn't taking away anything from Barack Obama. His ability to inspire ensured that people, who otherwise wouldn't have bothered to vote would be willing to wait 5 hours in a line to vote for him. This is something the others wouldn't have been able to do. He has made himself out to be the man of the people and for the people. He is the breath of fresh air that America and the world desperately needs.

There's a lot of dirt that will be dug up on her apparently in the next week or so. FOX News have already begun. Among other things, she couldn't name the countries in NAFTA, and, thought Africa was a country as opposed to a continent and South Africa was just the southern part of the country of Africa. She was warned by her advisers not to do an interview with Katie Curic on CBS, but didn't heed those warnings and she ended up looking like a fool. She blamed her advisers for being asked the wrong questions - questions on topics she had no idea about. Apparently the last three to four weeks of the campaign she really lost it. She went mental. Looks like she's the blame.

Yes, the dawning of a new era. A revolution even.

This is another amusing assumption about the parties in the USA. The difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is about as much as between Thatcher and Tebbit (or at best Portillo). I actually agree that there isn't too much difference between the D's and the R's, the only real major difference is the Republicans are strong corporatists. However the inference that the Republican Party is as dirty as they come comes from this man; Big bad Karl Rove Well that's what this game is all about, and it will be interesting to see what Obama will do whilst he is in power. I do believe he will bring change, he has to because that's what brought him into power to begin with and he virtually has a mandate to do so. He may bring bi-partisanship back into American politics, and that in itself would be a massive change. Time will reveal all, have you got a crystal ball?

I agree, the secret service are pretty good at doing their job, and anyway, the likes of who are involved with the KKK, neo-nazis and the religious wackos aren't smart enough as someone has already pointed out. But there's no doubt that some plans will be made by some people to eliminate Obama in his time as President. They are all wasting their time, this guy can bend light. Obama can do anything

You won't be the only one. I think both he and Smith should go at season's end, irrespective of how well Shola plays for the remainder of the season or how chirpy a lad Smith is in the dressing room.

Yup John McCain is a class act. He is a decent human being overall. He ran a fair campaign and there was very little mud slinging from him. Unfortunately though, he is a Republican and that party is as dirty as they come at this time.

Misinformation has been a tool for the conservatives for a long time. Thankfully this election brought out an unprecedented amount of people to come out and vote, outnumbering the wackos; those that believe Obama is a muslim, those who voted against Obama because he isn't pro-life or a creationist. This election was based on the proper issues that affect everyone, not only in the US but all over the world. The economy, the energy crisis, foreign policy and corporations that rule over government. Things are about to change, and as a non-American I'm pretty excited about these events. It is hard not to get caught up with what's happened

America is once again a friend.

Peace to you my friend but is the above quote true??? Sounds quite contradictory and nonsensical tbf This is it: These "Babies" are huge, Sir! Enormous! OH MY GOD! You wouldn't believe it! I'm telling you there are other spacecraft out there, lined up on the far side of the crater edge! They're on the Moon watching us! Stick it into google and there's literally 100s of conspiracy sites that mention it. Most of the sites are bollocks but it's quite a famous alleged quote. Basically it was supposed to have been heard by all the radio hams that were also picking the signal up that was being beamed back to Earth. I've never actually seen it on anywhere credible though. I think Buzz Aldrin did actually see a UFO though (before they got to the Moon). It was literally that though - i.e. an unidentified flying object rather than an alien spacecraft. There a few credible theories as to what it could have been. My apologies Alex. The above original post from me was directed at Parky, as in Parky, you believe in ET's yet you don't believe America reached the moon??? What is all that about? Anyway Alex the transcript you are referring to in regards to Neil Armstrong and his description of alien bases on the moon crater has been proven to be a hoax, I do believe. But most if not all astronauts believe we are not alone. Do you remember most recently Dr Edgar Mitchell's comments about ET's. These guys are not allowed to speak their minds in relation to this subject. It falls under the category of national security and obviously public humiliation. Creationists still are the majority in America, well at least they are the loudest. More on Edgar Mitchell's most recent comments in July. As you can tell by the twat who interviews him on the radio and also the reactions of the FOX News interviewers that the subject is not taken seriously, and proponents are ridiculed, no matter how highly esteemed a character can be. This made mainstream media headlines all over the world btw; Radio interview on Kerrang Edgar Mitchell on FOX News

Which is why I watch the CNN and FOX coverages respectively. CNN for a generally impartial view and FOX to hear the excuses why McCain isn't winning in certain states and the unbelievable victories McCain is getting in some states despite getting hammered overall. Out with conservatism!!!
-
Fingers crossed, it's pretty close in Texas atm. There'd be nothing better than for Bush Jr to leave the White House and return back to his state in blue!!!!!!!!! Also North Carolina was the state where everyone was calling whoever won it would win the election. Obama is blitzing it there atm.

Depends obviously on whether he can keep getting results, but I'd want him to stay until season's end, even if the club changes ownership in Dec/Jan. After we avoid relegation, plan for the longer term.

Tis a conspiracy of global proportions. The NWO. Seriously though, I can't wait for JAXA to make available their data and images. Hopefully within the next month or so...

Obama will stroll through for a win. My projected outcome here: My tip for the Electoral College is that Obama will get 313. 270 are needed to be declared the winner of the the election. The Democrats will have a majority in the Senate (approximately 60 out of 100), and they will also hold the majority in the House Of Representatives. This all means Obama will have a clear mandate to carry out whatever he pleases for the next 4 years. O B A M A

There isn't a telescope powerful enough. magnification is not good enough What happened to the images from the Japanese fly by last year? Being studied by Japanese scientists and most of it won't be released up until at least 12 months after the ending of that Selene moon mission. The few that have been released are low definition images which aren't really anything new. They can be seen here; Nothing too groundbreaking about those. JAXA released this though as evidence of Apollo 15's moon landing; halo around Apollo 15 landing site

Of course they live here. They are everywhere. something is showing off further commentary

Obama will win. There are traditional republican states that are swinging and I think he'll win it comfortably. His campaign has by and large been a smooth one and I think he's reached out to more people especially the disenfranchised middle class who previously had not bothered to vote.
-
Yup. If Ashley doesn't manage a sale by Christmas time we are assured of the drop and even if he does sell then, we are still not guaranteed of avoiding relegation as it leaves little time to organise a shopping list of players the club desperately needs, unless we go out and buy players JFK wants. I have no confidence in Steven Taylor and the fact he gets picked in the team without any real competition, it shows just how brittle we really are at the back. Possible wins will be draws and possible draws will be losses. Of other teams I believe West Brom will get relegated and quite possibly Bolton or Stoke, or all three which will save us a little heartache.
