The lad next to Dyer looks like that taxi driver on BBC breakfast getting mistaken for an economics professor - looks like he's came to the stadium with his toon top on and got mistaken for a footballer by Gullit
One of my favourite "Jesus do you remember him?!" players. Franck Dumas. Got done for tax evasion do to gambling addiction, which is fairly apposite.

So without new signings (or the fringe that we should be shifting on or keeping away from the first team) our first team will look like:
Pope
Trippier - Livramento
Botman
Schar
Hall - Burn
Bruno - Longstaff
Joelinton - Miley
Tonali - Anderson
Almiron
Barnes
Gordon
Isak

This is excellent, one by one people are crying off a party they're not invited to.

Am I missing something? Why is Vincent Kompany considered hot property? He's proven capable of getting a Championship yo-yo club promoted and proven incapable of achieving anything close to keeping them in the PL. I get the point that he has some credit as a disciple of Pep but really (on the basis of current results) has he done much to separate himself from other high-profile former players turned managers?
Plenty of bang average managers have been promoted out of the Championship on less resources than Burnley have at their disposal.
I can only think that his preferred style works with a dominant side, that's why Burnley did well in the Championship. But he didn't evolve it to work when they're not the biggest fish in the pond.

PS Dave would rather have a pint with Klopp than BDB.
Wrong.
I would pay to spend a couple of hours in the pub with him, Pope and I dunno... Gordon maybe?

You give me that sass after that middle management blurb?

So I could be celebrating a new government on my birthday?

I think next time, I should just pick players who are likely to play every week and not be sold to a team outside the PL. That way when I forget to make any changes, I'll still get points.

Schar, Botman, Burn, Tosin and Kelly are a good set of CB. Shame Lascelles signed a contract extension before his knee exploded (for us, not him, obvs)
Easier to sell him if he's contracted and not limping?

Think the second of the middle ones - attack of the clones - was better than the first, although the acting from Hayden Christensen was execrable. The last of that trilogy was enjoyable despite the hammy acting. The first new one was just a pointless reboot and they needlessly killed off the the best character with the worst villain ever. I'd say overall I'm amazed at how badly they managed to fuck up a multi-billion franchise like, the many series on Disney are in general just as awful.
When it comes to Sci-Fi, I tend to prefer hard sci-fi (real science) over soft sci-fi (made up bollocks). Not much of the former available though, maybe Star Trek and films like Interstellar at a stretch, or the martian, plus various dystopian films that feel like they are coming more true by the day.
I liked Mandalorian and the Rosario Dawson one to be honest.
Thought the new trilogy was close to being good, but at every fork in the road they chose the wrong one. But then again, I'm not the target audience. I'm struggling to think of any good sci-fi, hard or soft, that has come out in ages.
Moon? Does the Martian count? But so much is just rehashing original pieces and that's the biggest problem with the latest trilogy, certainly the first of those three.

Kelly and Tosin are proper good signings to improve the squad, especially on frees. Covers Botman and Lascelles while they recover and means we can spunk a wedge on a RW and a young striker to replace Wilson during his numerous and inevitable injury layoffs.
And frees up dinero for sweeteners for contract renegotiations for our existing better players.
