  1. Poor man's Van Halen tbh.
  2. Great photo, great book. My favorite shot is the one of the guy sitting on bales of cotton
  3. I can see both sides here... On average, seven sides finish above us each year. Four of those are consistent. I would say that from year to year, that makes us on average the 8th best team per year BUT over the course of ten years we've been the fifth best. ...If that makes sense....
  4. Wacky, you know EVERYONE in Newcastle.
  5. I would expect it to be people going home a bit later than that--9:00 my time is 3:00 GMT. If you lot spend all your time at work posting here and are only there until 1500 then its a wonder the British economy hasn't collapsed!
  6. The forum always dies some time around 9:00 AM my time. There's good discussion up until then and then nothing.
  7. That was JFK. True story an'all. Kevin Costner doens't even look like JFK!
  8. He tried an English accent but it was so bad the director told him not to bother. I'll forgive him as it's the best film ever made. Cary Elwes was a better Robin Hood tbh.
  9. Stabbing with a broken wine glass? Seems a bit OTT even for a made up story.
  10. Playercamtastic. I can't imagine anyone persevering with Playercam for more than 30 seconds, tops. I said the same to wor lass when I heard about the Zidane one. I meant that and the George Best one btw Zath. The NY Cosmos one sounds canny good.
  11. The Cosmos one is actually quite interesting. Giorgio Chinaglia was a right shit (still is the stock-fixing cunt)
  12. Me too, but I've never seen her play anything other than Kirsten Dunst. She's got about as much range as Vinnie Jones. I haven't seen her in much, although she was decent in 'Eternal Sunshine...'. I just like her tits. FYP
  13. I do get annoyed when films taking place during the colonial period don't affect true accents; but in a film where the entire dialogue would have to be in another language the point seems lost to me.
  14. So you're arguing that the ancient Romans being played by an Australian actor in an American film should speak with an English accent as it would be more historically accurate? If you read my first paragraph, ie the one you decided not to quote, I've already explained my opinion on that argument. Not really; your argument states that it seems to you to be a continuity error. What would be the point of Dunst speaking with a french accent in this Marie Antoinette film? It's not more accurate for her to speak english in a french accent. If you're so concerned about film actors having english accents, then you should start making some (more) half-decent films in britain.
