Taylor is average. But if he was there Coloccini would not have had to react to Cacapa going to ground. Apart from that being speculative to say the least, Cacapa was fouled and he didn't 'go to ground'. Without speculation this would be one empty forum. My point was that Taylor would not have been so easily dismissed. I didn't say Cacapa wasn't fouled. I'm disappointed with his performance in that situation and his overall performance in the game, particularly as most of the rest of the team had pretty decent games. We obviously have better players than Fulham, so not getting anything in this match hurts given our position on the table. Kinnear is going to cop a fine for his comments. My point was Cacapa didn't go to ground for the penalty. His overall performance wasn't great by any means but the penalty was in no way, shape or form his fault so I don't know what you're on about there regarding that situation. How can you say that cacapa wasnt partly responsible for the penalty? Was he fouled? Some say yes some say no...come on, one one hand we complain because the refs are taking the physical side out of the game and on the other at times when it suits us its too physical...Bullshit, cacapa wasnt fouled, he was turned inside out, he turned the wrong way and was too fucking slow to recover. His useless positional ability had us in trouble all night and yes it was coloccini's foul for the penalty, but he would of had to do that had cacapa not fucked up. And still we have the little rays of sunshine on here complaining about taylor, HE WASNT FUCKING PLAYING...I think he is grosly mistreated by many on here. No he is not world class, but he is decent, and had he of been playing last night, that would NOT of happened imo.

Glad i aptly named the topic "dream" lol

Agree with cacapa and viduka, hopefully owen will of signed before christmas. Smith and Geremi would go but i think your a bit harsh on taylor, and shola would be a good backup squad player. I love all four of those in the toon shirt! Mainly Huntelaar and Mexes

But is £250mil over the odds is what im saying? im thinking its a pretty fair price... He paid out £134 mill to buy it, invested £100mill in the debts yes? Total outlay £234million. The squad is arguably worth less than it was when he bought the club, attendances are down, we have a manager now who is way down the managerial pecking order compared to the bloke we had in when he bought us. We have lost backroom staff with no mention of replacements and to top it all off there is now a recession so everything is worth less than it was 2 years ago (the land it sits on, the stadium itself even the club vehicles and machinery will all have depreciated quite a bit). In any other sector you would be laughed out of town if you bought a business, ran it shit for two years and then tried to sell at a profit. How much would your valuation be then?

Ah that cheered me up a little. Im pleased for ya mate I ment that we all seem to agree week in week out what should happen but it never does lol It did sound a bit daft like Ha. Aye a nar what you mean though, his substitutions aren't good enough. We're no managers just mere armchair pundits but we deserve a better manager than Joe Fucking Kinnear! I play FM faaaar to much haha

You toon manager with current squad and 50mil in jan...who do you buy and sell?

What are you talking about? If abramovic's cock bought us he wouldnt need help you fuckin plum. Anyone with Billions are sitting pretty through the financial crisis. Even more so the yanks if they invest in sterling assets, which will become strong again! Plum Think you should change your name to Plop You'd clearly pay £480m for the club. Il repeat...what are you talking about Ploppy Pants? The club has been independently valued at £200m (prior to this seasons self-destruction), now Ashley has put in £234m (£134m to buy, +~£100m debt) all told, so he's unlikely to want to make a loss. Almost all of the "interested parties" we've been linked with would have raised their finance in ways that the current global conditions make pretty much impossible (they simply haven't got £280m or £200m simply burning a hole in their pocket). However even the few that we've been vaguely linked with that were independently wealthy enough to buy the club outright are canny enough to know it's a buyers market and won't be held to silly prices (which Ashley is still doing or we'd currently be owned by Man City's new owners). Ashley himself is worth maybe 1/2 of what he was when he bought the club, which is the problem with theoretical wealth it can disappear as quickly as it appears, and is both a gambler and prepared to take massive risks for a profit. Ashley's prices of £480m and £350m were pie in the sky dreamt of by a desperate gambler (even prior to the current world financial issues), but even £280m is a daft price for anyone to pay for us at present. The question is whether Ashley will give, or whether he'll play his cards to the bitter end, because no one with any business sense is going to waste their own money (and they'll not get hold of anyone else's money to risk at present) on a club that is 1/3 over valued. Maybe their is a vastly personally wealthy lunatic out there ready to buy us, but I doubt it. Well you maye know your stuff but those figures of £300mil and £280mil were banded about by the media. There no definitive statements made from MA nor his associates to what he was actually asking for? Only recently has the brokering company stated that MA would only make a small profit so £250mil fits into all that quite nicely doesnt it? Fact is the club will go for very close to £250mil, MA doesnt want to hang about here so id imagine that it will be one of these two americans who stump up the money as it is a very VERY good time for them to do so.

I think thats the divide between an average manager and a quality manager - being able to inflence the game with high impact substitutions. What baffles me though is we all can call the rite moves so why the fuck cant he?

KK takes off his JFK mask
-
Well JFK showed his tactial ineptitude today, firstly with the decision of playing cacapa instead of bassong. Maybe he wanted cacapa's experience but i think bassongs pace and strength wasmuch more valuable. Cacapa was at fault for both goals and made a series of rather embarassing blunders. I dont blame coloccini at all for the pentalty. Our midfield was OK, duff worked hard but shit end product, this is my second point about JFK, when the game was getting stretched why not use n'zogbias directness and pace? Shola done ok and got his goal but you could see martins was getting frustrated today. Wasnt ment to be and on another day without the worlds shittest brazilian in the side we mite of got something. We can talk about fulhams goals but in reality we didnt create alot. Disappointing to say the least when we could of hit the heights of 9th today
-
We'll rather see Kinnear bringing on fucking Geremi... Haha aye Cheers for the link bud This is wank tho
-
anyone got a stream PM me please TVU dont seem to be workin
-
Back to the point guys...what you all expecting/hoping for? Iv got a sneaky feeling we mite turn out another good performance! il go 3-1 Martins, Duff and Owen (off the bench)
-
One hoping to get on TV. Then come on a NUFC forum and boast about it....what a tool. I heard he was the fluffer in the Blyth Spartans dressing room, still didn't get on telly like.
-
Fuck off stevie, your not from ashington are you haha
-
Well maybe my source is folly or maybe its possible he would tell mates more truthful stuff rather than at a talk in when there could potentially be journo's who can misconstrue things what were said? Just a thought
-
3-0 up against Shrewsbury!! Geeeet In Spartans! Blue Square North 3 - 0 Coca Cola League 2 Shrewsbury are doing well in League 2 as well!! Canny scalp if it stays like that!

Disagree Agree Bilic said he was interested, then changed his mind for whatever reason, he has been quoted saying good things about newcastle. Yes i know this isnt strong enough to suggest he'd definatly want the job, but i think with a decent system in place and money to spend he would fancy his chances at working in the EPL and what better place than SJP? He'd be my number one choicei think (Shearer aside) There are a few stragglers hanging onto the KK dream, thats not a dig just think you are all building yourself up for a massive let down imo
-
Totally agree bud, Big Al aint gonna ply his trade at minows, for him it'd be southampton or us, and like i said as far as him being green in managerial terms, id havemore than enough faith in him if it were to be the case. On your point about Didier Deschamps, him or Slaven Bilic would be a good call if Big Al wad not the route the next owners thought best of. KK coming back is NOT going to happen...End off
