Well they offered me £50k a week what would yee dee? Anyway, magnificent performance from the toon yesterday, we were BY FUCKIN FAR the better team before the sending off, and nothing I saw yesterday has stopped me thinking they are scum. I was convinced your man Suarez was going to score that free kick, well done the toon though.

Aye this pretty much mirrors my thoughts. I don't care if they were friendlies we did brilliantly against Brazil twice in the last six months, Spain and Germany are clearly better than us, Argentina have Messi, but after that, and I'm speaking honestly here, who should we feel massively inferior to. Last eight would be a success this time, and I think we could get there.

Aye spot on example regarding Fowler as well. That type of approach would be laughed at in other countries. I think most of the TV programmes I watched as a bairn in the 80s and 90s wouldn't even be allowed these days. Alf Garnett programmes would be introduced with "warning some viewers may find some of the views expressed in this show offensive."

Get Keeganovic in here now.

50% of his job is to arselick the worst owner in English football, my dislike of him stems more from that, than any tactical ineptitude he has. Also his patter stinks generally too, how many times is he going to mention they full kit 50 year old geordies he sees in petrol stations. He is a mug, he should be a gigolo for 65+ year old spinsters who still fancy a shag.

me="Tooj" post="1233687" timestamp="1381912352"] When will you learn? Well it's better than being a cynical miserable fucka, and at no point have I said we can win it, I think that's quite balanced by my standards.

I tell you one thing I don't understand about the World Cup next year, in 1994 it cos the yanks £30m to host it, yet it's costing these £14billion. That's 500 times more. I appreciate the yanks had the stadiums sorted, but the difference is mental.

Gerrard was world class, I think Ashley Cole is as good a left back as you can get in world football in a defensive sense. In my view player for player England in 2006 were better on paper than Italy, even Australia should've put them out, and definitely Greece in 2004. Football is a team game, maybe one of England's problems in the past is we've had top players, but been unable to mold it in to a top team.
-
I'm getting better, we were going to win in 2006 and 2010, ffs we were going to win in 2008 and we weren't even there. I don't think we'll win, I just think we could go to the last eight, there's not many outstanding international teams now.
-
I'm not interested in Roy's cock Spot on about Belgium though, they've got a load of really good individual players, but at the end of the day they're Belgium, and that's even worse than being England or Holland.

Biggest secondary mentalist, there are four or fiver bigger primary mentalists, whatever the fuck that means.
-
Whenever England play well peoples expectations are raised, but I'll give you a few stats, we've lost 2 games in 3 years (TWO), both friendlies. In that time we've played Brazil, Spain, Holland, Italy etc etc... I'm not saying we can win it, I think Germany are far better than we are for one, but there's only two sides head and shoulders better and no more than four who you can say are probably better.

He was a cripple though shortly afterwards, he looked like an old man, I agree almost entirely with Ian's post. He admits there was worse, but Portsmouth in particular made him look like a very old man at 31, and he can't have been that badly injured if he started, was an excuse that. I agree he looked decent for Lyon, but that's typical Newcastle, Luque looked a world beater at times at Deportivo.

It could've been avoided of course it could but the Thatcher government didn't give a fuck about football fans, and it's a shame because people behind the scenes were taking an interest in to the future of football from late 88 early 89 onwards. The disaster itself changed as many things for the bad as it did the good. No one wants to see deaths at football games, but losing the terraces is one of the worst things that has ever happened to English football. I don't care what anyone says, English fans rightly had a reputation as amongst the most passionate in the world, perhaps many of us still are but the all seater stadia phenomena is stifling, kids go to games with no idea what passionate proper support used to be like and that's a massive shame. No one can look me in the eye and say Germans are more passionate as people than the English, they're self confessed robots and have been for centuries yet their standing stadia are creating better atmospheres than ours at present and to me that is ridiculous.

I don't think he's laying any blame at Keegan's feet there mind.
