There's no excuse this window for not having a go. How much have Southampton spent? £30m? Crystal Palace paying £9m for players, Crystal fucking Palace! They're doing it because of the extra £20m-£30m each club will get this year from Sky. We've been making profits without this, so there is literally no excuse. All of this gives me extra hope that maybe we really will be sold.

Gym five days a week, sometimes six. When I'm there I do an hours cross trainer which is better for your knees than running, and it burns at least 800 calories every time. Usually do half hour weights on me legs, arse, and belly, also cycle 50 miles + every week. I don't run as much because me knees aren't what they were, and as fit as I am, bizarrely at under 15st I'm slower at running than I was when I was 16 and a half stone. Play football once a fortnight now, and I'm not shite but me feet are much slower than they were, it's quite depressing not being the player I once was. Apologies for the bent pics, but the first one was me in January nigh on 17st, the last two are me now 14st8, just to prove that this shit really works. People who say "ah I'll always be fat", nothing but lazy bastards imo, people are fat because they eat or drink too much, while putting next to no effort in. Often peoples lifestyles dictate they haven't got an hour a day to put the effort in, but they could easily get a gym at home. No sympathy for fat people me, I was overweight and it was down to nothing more than thinking I could drink 25+ pints a week while doing little to burn it off.

Kinnear heart attack before May. Ashley tries to sell but no one buys. At least one home game conceding four goals. Two defeats to the mackems. 14th-18th finish for us. -
Utterly feeble, and I tell you what if you care too much or think too hard you'll end up depressed such was the lack of anything positive yesterday. THE only positive was Tim Krul could've been 7 or 8 but for him, we could've conceded 3 or 4 in the first ten minutes. Fucking gutted with the toon at the minute, and I don't want to repeat myself in the style of certain older deleted posters on here, but our transfer policy this summer has been a disgrace. I'm hanging on to the hope that the reason for this is he's finally going to sell. The worst thing is, last season we were the TENTH best supported club in Europe, and we were beaten before a ball was kicked. The body language of the players told you that. Utterly disgusting. Gutted beyond belief. If you take away already relegated QPR, these are our last six games Sunderland 0-3 WBA 1-1 Liverpool 0-6 West Ham 0-0 Arsenal 0-1 Man City 0-4 This wouldn't be acceptable for Crystal Palace or Hull let alone Europe's 20th richest club. I'm sure Ashley is doing this as payback for 6 years of abuse, the Kinnear appointment confirms that for me.

Aye I'm waiting for Man Utd on one of mine https://twitter.com/leazeslad/status/368733983724404737/photo/1 . Shame like I've only had coppers on today should get £25 back though. We're safe as houses, Swansea look ineffectual.

Pains me to say this but Liverpool look tremendous. Some of the football they've played is absolute class. Coutinho looks the real deal.

I remember when the Leazes was being built we lost 2-0 at home to Leicester and he scored an absolute beauty with his left foot from 30 yards, and that was to me one of the only outstanding things I ever saw him do in his career. He was a niggly twat with little ability. A poor mans Nicky Butt at best. As a bloke he's one of the biggest wankers in Britain, I don't know why people think he's funny, he's not, he just says things to be controversial. A few times he's come out with the Newcastle small club pish.

Shane Ferguson tearing apart international opposition

I'm not tired at all. My point is and was, you tried to abuse CT, and ended up looking like a cunt yet again. There's only one way this argument can go, I continue pulling you to pieces and you ban me OR and this would be the sensible option, you display a spor of humility, and apologise to CT. I won't be posting again for a while anyway, partly you're an absolute flid, who wouldn't dream of abusing in person, and partly because there's fuck all happening with NUFC. Anyone with a sense of dignity would apologise to CT, you'd look a cunt still, but marginally less of a one. -

That's absolutely fine. I don't post every day on here, I have a look but it's wank lately, a lot of the people with anything interesting to say no longer post anyway. Your point here is "we can all talk shite", that's fine and very true. The point is here, there's 2000 members on this board, potentially many thousands of people who can view threads, all I was doing was highlighting someone trying to be a prick and ending up looking like a cunt. Why is that such a bad thing? CT comes on here to post about football, he made a genuinely fine post, someone ridiculed him and ended up looking like a global cunt. Flowery paragraphs starting with condescending "Stevie mate"'s won't change that. The next person I reply to in this thread will be CT. -

In what respect mate? If he was trying to talk down to someone like Chez or Alex you wouldn't have said that. From who? Someone trying to demean CT? "Ah its alright its CT". Anyone with anything about them could see what this post was about below: Surely respect is the name of the game? Where's the respect there? If you're going to abuse as well and end up looking like such a Greys Monument cunt, Meenzer, would you not think the best course of action is to offer an unsarcastic genuine apology? Because I would. -

Well where is the bother? The situation is this. Someone who thinks he has a degree of power (Subject ridicules someone who he believes isn't respected en masse (Subject A), yet subject B ends up looking like a cunt? It's not as much bother as fact. Bullying exists at all levels of life, CT's views on Ashley to me are nearly as bad as jew views on Nazi's but that's irrelevant. My point tonight is Ant views CT as someone the board en masse had poked fun at for varying reasons over a period of time. CT posts something about one of our young players, he's had a canny game against, Ant attacks him ends up looking like a cunt, and no one says anything. "It's only CT". Look at facts here not opinions. CT deserves at the very least an unsarcastic apology. -

Give me five words about how you would describe Ant's flacid attack on CT and how he's ended up lookin (on this particular subject) five words. 5 words from a creative man like you. -

If I ended up looking like such a cataclysmic mug, that is definitely what I'd be doing. -

I haven't read your post, I won't find it funny, all my main point was about is, CT made a point about Shane Ferguson you basically said, so what against Russia's reserves in a friendly basically attacking the bloke, and you've ended up looking like a cunt. There's absolutely NO NEED to get emotional about it, if you were a man you'd apologise to CT and move on. -

Nope, now lets get this straight it's all well and good trying to abuse CT, but at least get your facts right. If I was a bigoted republican or unionist in Northern Ireland I'd plead ignorance too (either way), but not when it had the potential to make me look like a cunt. It wasn't a friendly and it wasn't Russia's reserves. Northern Ireland's result tonight is absolutely catastrophic for a country of 150m people and their chances of going to Brazil next year. Fair play to the cunts. Ant listen, its your board everyone knows that, but if you're going to be condescending to people like CT, don't end up looking like a mug. FFS. What's your thoughts on Ant's post tonight CT? -
Without a doubt in my mind. A game at a ground where we hadn't won against them for 40 years, we're 3-2 up deservedly against the Premier League champions, we had a depleted side out, against a club who'd been in the three of the last five Champions League finals at a ground where we hadn't scored 3 in 70 years, we hit the woodwork without scoring twice, it could have been our finest hour in recent years. Stats are misleading anyway particularly possession stats, they pummelled us the last 20 minutes, but even then we still had chances to score. In the last five years we've won at places like the Emirates, a shit game against an average team, we won at Chelsea (worst side they've had in 20 years), but for me Newcastle were absolutely magnificent at Old Trafford, haven't felt as proud of a performance in a long long time, just gutting the bastards got the goal in stoppage time.
-
Which is all well and good when we're scoring more than we're conceding but last season our goal difference and defensive record is worse than when we were relegated, another team he was part of. If someone bid £1m for Jonas I'd snap their hands on off. I'd go as far to say this was our best away performance in the last 5 years http://nufc.com/html/2012-13html/2012-12-26manu-a.html and Jonas wasn't there.
-
I couldn't agree less. When you're watching a game on telly you're focussed on the ball a lot more, you only see what is going on around the ball. At the game you can see the entire formation, how we're moving off the ball, how the shape of the team can change through a game, watching it on telly you get a good understanding of how a game is going, and why things are happening but it's a very poor substitute to actually being there and seeing how things unfold from a broader view. Your point about Jonas tracking back would be valid if it actually prevented goals, but it doesn't. You could use the Arsenal game last season as a case in point to prove your point, Jonas was missing and we conceded 7 goals, but that was only 3 till the last 10 minutes. We were very unlucky, as we were at Man Utd. Two games in three days, and for me other than the last 15 minutes at Arsenal, we were fucking excellent in my view. You know why? Because Jonas wasn't there. People think the Chelsea game was the best last season it probably was, but at Man Utd we were fantastic we were fluid going forward, we lost 4-3 and 7-3. In those two game with 15 minutes to go it was 2-3 and 3-3, you could argue the point that perhaps if Jonas played we wouldn't have catipulated, but at the same time we wouldn't have become the first team in 49 years to score three league goals against Arsenal and Man Utd in the same season, let alone the last three days. I'm all for tactics but he's got nowt, I'd rather lose 4-3 than 1-0, I'd rather lose 7-3 than 4-0 as well.
-
Where did he put him then?
-
So you're blaming your phone for putting Santon up front?
-
Aye playing a full back centre forward a role he hasn't played since he was 15, it could work, so could Vanessa Feltz's attempt to become a size 8. It could happen.
