Probably just severe bruising of the shin bone so I'd imagine he'd be out for a couple of weeks. He'd have missed the Europe league games anyway.

What an absolute calamity Gareth Barry is. Just handed Southampton a 3-1 lead with an own goal of the most ridiculous order. What a twat
-
Dzeko somehow scuffs the ball over a sliding defender. 2-1 Southampton, man city deserve absolutely fuck all from this at the moment. Southampton have put in some shift I think they'll pay for that in the second half
-
Hopefully lambert gets another yellow. Could do with him out of the next game. Good position for man city to get back into it here. They've been utter shit though

Going away to a tough Ukrainian side with a decent size crowd is far from a nailed on win. Home games should all be victories then three draws away would be brilliant. Would see us in the next round of the Europa league and on 35pts after 30 games probably only requiring 5 further pts to guarantee safety and an additional 8pts for a top half finish (potentially)

Without looking too much into it first stat I looked at was sissokos, he's got two goals and an assist after his two games. Are the rest of the stats correct?...... Thought bale was the difference today and dembele really struggled. Usually a top player is he injured at the moment or just struggling to find form?
-
Great another fucking injury
-
Jonas has been very good. Perch has been decent in the short passing but out of his depth positional wise
-
Holtby bale and Dempsey start for them. Adebayor on the bench
-
Like you said he's some player. So good he's in two places at once
-
He didn't start last week and they've got him on the bench.

Newcastle United (4-2-3-1): Tim Krul; Mathieu Debuchy, Steven Taylor, Fabricio Coloccini ©, Davide Santon; James Perch, Yohan Cabaye; Yoan Gouffran, Moussa Sissoko, Jonas Gutierrez; Papiss Cisse Substitutes: Steve Harper, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Vurnon Anita, Cheick Tiote, Sylvain Marveaux, Gabriel Obertan, Shola Ameobi
-
Unchanged line up. Tiote back in the squad on the bench
-
We had Williamson, Simpson, Guthrie, obertan and perch playing. Definitely shouldn't have gone out all guns blazing
-
Last year we had perch and Guthrie in centre mid with Jonas and obertan either side. We were ripped apart in midfield with tiote away and cabaye suspended. We also had Williamson and Simpson at the back so personnel wise a lot stronger this time round while spurs are weaker.

32pts in 13 games is asking a bit much. Almost 2.5pts a game isn't happening
-
Can't play both mbiwa and debuchy. Have to settle for one!
-
I actually meant I've premature ejaced over the thought! I'd put tiote back in, raring to go with two class players by his side, probably for the for the first time in a long time. I think he's tried to do too much this season, get back to basics and he'll be the midfield destroyer once more.
-
Prematured!!!
-
Defo definitely out for at least 3weeks according to AVB. Tiote back too, looking like an excellent squad now.
-
At this rate he'll be at WHL
-
Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA

I thought we could include sissoko, haidara and one of mbiwa/debuchy. Could well be wrong though- 1745 replies

Tiotes just scored a vital equaliser against Nigeria for his first ever international goal.

Defoe has hobbled off with a painful looking twist of the ankle. Hopefully that keeps him out!
