Miggy has been vitally important to how we play. He executes the press about as well as anyone in the team, busts a gut every game defensively but his limitations are there for all to see. Ideally he would have been rotated more because he’s a form player out of form. I wouldn’t mind seeing Joelinton on for the second half with Gordon moving over to the right

He’s dreadful in the press. Just chasing the ball down isn’t pressing, he consistently leaves his man to aimlessly close the keeper from 30 yards out before the keeper then just passes to the full back he’s left wide open. That isn’t pressing, players like Murphy execute the press well, you trap players in and don’t allow the pass eliminating options and creating turnovers - Almiron just runs at players.

He’s not a scapegoat, he’s a poor player he had a good 5 month spell when teams were open to the counter attack but now teams sit deeper against us he has become a massive liability consistently missing chances and playing the wrong pass. In fact Almiron almost just scored an own goal because of his insane decision making.

He’s had one purple patch since he joined the club and doesn’t give you a lot var graft beyond that. He’s frustrating as fuck. Not sure what your point is re the last bit unless you think you can’t criticise a lack of a ability and a footballing brain

Watch out or everyone will tell you one of the worst players in the press is actually the best, simply because he chases shadows and never wins the ball back.

  3. Silva is an absolute helmet and always has been, one of the most blatant red cards you will ever see in a game and he’s whinging that it wasn’t a red but the accidental elbow you see 2-3 times a week was .

Too much of this in football now man Fulham got absolutely fucking pumped just take the lickings and move on. He managed a couple of wins against some of the disorganized rabble at the bottom of the table then went up against a good side with a far better manager.

  4. The just stop oil blocking our fans getting there thing would be class mind, as you know for a fact it would mean the kick off was delayed and the mackems going absolutely ballistic about how someone has took Saudi money to not kick off until the mag bastards get there despite it being standard protocol. As always it would just end up bothering them more.

We've had less than 200 posts on the derby since the fixture was drawn, probably half that actually as many of the posts since then have been on them hilariously sacking Mowbray. But apparently we're really wound up about this? Said without irony on a thread with >2300 posts which is just one of several? A dozen or so threads where they are thinking what racial slurs to chant or what banners they'll have, planes flying over etc. Also a 200 post thread where at least 50% of the respondents said they'd rather win this fixture than get promoted.

I mean honestly, I want to win, but going out of the FA cup isn't the be all and end all, its happened every year since 1955. We'll also certainly be fielding a weakened  team, they will be hoping for a new manager boost as usual, so a defeat is reasonably possible and I doubt a rout is on the cards. Fairly sure they are more wound up than us, always.

 Aye, wound up about what? Playing a shit side in a cup competition? Why the fuck would anyone be wound up by that, we finally have the opportunity to embarrass the fucking wankers after years of hearing insane ramblings of how they’re somehow a better side than us with Luke O’Nein in the middle of the park while we have Bruno Guimaraes . I’m more than happy for us to play the fucking gimps.

I also agree with what you mentioned about them being weird and racist about SA. It’s a simple regime to have a go at, they do horrific things - but despite how easy it is the thick cunts still manage to completely miss the mark and lazily make it just racist.

  6. It’s honestly why I’ve been so happy the derby hasn’t happened for yonks, it should be piss taking and having a laugh, vying for bragging rights but unfortunately there’s a (not particularly small) section of their support who make it this bizzare, horrible, threatening shite. They’re pathetic.

    Amnesty International have gone rogue

Fucking hell, the maddest part is they won’t even realize how fucking racist that tweet is  that’s without pointing out mocking a woman’s symptoms of her illness. They legitimately call Saudi Arabian people “camel humpers” and “rag heads” in threads they’re all stating how classy they are, the lack of fucking awareness is unreal.

The hatred of Staveley is psychopathic behavior mind, I’ve honestly never felt any urge to have that kind of vitriol towards an owner of SAFC - why have that much hatred for someone that’s legitimately done nothing to you?

  8. Yet again bringing Amnesty International up despite fucking NONE of them being involved or showing any interest in that organization. They’re absolutely pathetic, if you want to act classy take your humbling on the chin - the mackems were happy to dish out stuff when they beat us.

  9. The bias towards them is absurd mind, the way the commentator kept going on and on about Mainoo while basically going “oh yeah this Miley is okay too” despite Mainoo playing one game against fucking Everton and Miley playing the games he has . Meanwhile Mainoo looked like your average Jack Colback side ways passing undersized player, while Miley controlled their midfield.

Class performance by us, they were never in the game really aside from that absurd injury time at the end.

  10. They’re brilliant like, trying to make out that us drawing away to PSG is shite while they’re losing at home to Championship relegation battlers. What a bunch of deluded bastards.

I assume the hype for their new age busby babes has died down a bit after they’ve watched a 17 year old Miley get plaudits from everyone and put in an assured performance in a CL away game? There’s levels to this game bitches, but they already know that seeing as they’re all so upset Keith Downie doesn’t bother tweeting about them.

It’s fucking hilarious how much that Keith bloke hates Newcastle, then sits and watches our CL games . Sat there complaining about how Popes save against Mbappe wasn’t as good as the BBC say, then goes and posts some nonsense about how Sunderland are bigger than NUFC, righto lad off you pop to watch more Tony Mowbray managed footy. So he’s sat and watched the whole game, watched the coverage, read opinions about it, then went onto a Sunderland forum and posted loads about it, but still whinges about how we’re all completely obsessed with them  I can’t even remember who the daft bastards lost to last night.
