  1. Fans of the original will no doubt know the remake is due out next year. I remember seeing this on a dodgy VHS. Its tame these days but was actually banned back when I saw it. Classic b movie film like and Cabin in the woods no doubt influenced from it. Anyway, the bootleg of the trailer has been doing the rounds. Was quickly taken down but here you go, looks canny - http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=2jilqa&s=6
  2. But their lucky pants are their football pants are their clubbing pants are their work pants are their .. you get the idea...
  3. (6aR,9R)- N,N- diethyl- 7-methyl- 4,6,6a,7,8,9- hexahydroindolo- [4,3-fg] quinoline- 9-carboxamide Is the basis of your opinions I now believe.
  4. Not 65 million years ago? Never took you for a creationist tbh. So Im guessing you think they were smaller? and these bones that they have found etc, stretched in perhaps? As to how they died, well fair enough on that one as anyone can only offer an idea based on other scenarios they calculate.
  5. Dont hold your breath like. I expect banter, of course, but sadly Id class the responses so far as "typical" from a mackem. Two chips, one on each shoulder, as much cheese as it can carry.
  6. So they did exist, so which bit dont you believe? How they died? How big they were? What they looked like?
  7. So, dinosaurs didnt exist? Im just making sure Im getting you here. Or was it just big stuff, brontosaur etc?
  8. Anyone! Anyone faking shit like jumping from space or whatever. I'm sure you think the hadron collider is fake as well. How about dinosaurs? Jet packs? Apples that taste of cucumber?
  9. But you are both the same person. No one could have so little to do to come up with such outlandish theories. Same person. Same bot. The biggest question about is it fake to me is why the fuck would you go to all that trouble.
  10. There is a reason there is a web forum for this stuff.
  11. http://m.ebuyer.com/248760 Slight tweak to my media set up. Sticking two 1TB drives in to this and Ethernet in to my router. I run yamj (a movie jukebox) from my PC desktop and also connect a popcorn hour which as an iPhone app to run it. Fill it with films etc for us and kids. All my DVDs and bluerays on it etc. can play various file formats as well and I even have a folder for home made movies (of the kids before you get ideas )
  12. But you're right. This is the point I was trying to make earlier. If it is a well ran charity that brings in millions for the cause, then you need someone with the knowledge and experience to run it and command £100K (for example). If you say we can only pay £30K then you will get £30Ks worth of quality in that role and very likely those millions coming in will shrink. Its not pretty but it is reality.
  13. Aye, 10K seats and 600 per year for example is only £6M revenue, plus food/drink I guess. I have no idea what the cost to redevelop would be but I reckon the payback would be a canny while and thats on the assumption of filling them each year.
  14. Thing is I dont "like" the deal with Wonga as such, but such is the over reaction by the media Im finding myself defending it.
  15. Wolfy is a forum bot btw before anyone gets carried away.
  16. Wolfy, let me explain a small detail to you. - its a public forum for anyone to join - it a forum - IT'S A FORUM My point : Noun: A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged. An Internet message board. In other words, you can't make a thread and say "only for those who agree with me". The point of a thread is to throw up a post and let everyone see the jester to his little dance, point and laugh. No one is talking about banning, post what the fuck batshit opinion you like. Would be good if you came up with something half credible though and not just yelling fake for the sake of it without any substance.
  17. Aye I said I a few posts up that it rang a bell using that
  18. Aye likely. Ive used "gadger" as well. I wonder if thats a mix of your codger and gadgie?
  19. Aye a radgie was similar to scotchie but also had a hint of being a nutter with it. Like if you were picking a kid off the ground for being cheeky he might shout "hoy man y' radgie" Also commonly said in sequence with charver in the 90s "ye radgie charver" also suggesting a charver off his head.
  20. Well, any bloke would have been older when we were bairns? So maybe. Not sure Ive heard any grown up use it so dunno.
  21. I was trying to think of what other terms were used with similar meanings. Im sure one was something like "rarfie".
