  1. Im all for debate and discussion, I have absolutely no issue with it, in fact its healthy. Yes we should look closely at things we are told. However, the manner you do this and the hypocrisy you employ gets peoples backs up. When people take time out of their day to explain to you something fully and you skim over and ignore it. Personally for me the biggest joke about the way you stand is you dismiss facts using arguments that are less believable than the truth!
  2. Works for me when I click the link oddly.
  3. That is my outdoor box. From that you can see ONE cable leaving and going down the white pipe. This is my mains supply (ignore the other two cables, they are extras I added to supply other things in the house from the outdoor mains, like the PV Inverter). Re your other points. I'll break them down. - What exactly do you mean by a "con" - What people appear to save? so far I'm 26% electric use down over last year at the same time period. Add on top of this the FIT payments received. - Prone to break down? Where did you pluck that one from? What does happen which is where you might get mixed up is the efficiency can drop. You dont get 100% efficiency anyway, that depends on your roof orientation. I get 91% iirc. Over years that may reduce "slightly". Of course the panels need to be kept clean as well. As for costing more in repairs than savings, bullshit. What do you think will need to be repaired exactly?
  4. Ok, first of all to give you the evidence you like.
  5. Hey Wolfy, did you know that the effect of Oxygen over the vocal cords is a deepening of the voice. As you grow old your throat grows and more Oxygen passes and the voice deepens. Breathing in a gas that can neutralise the effect such as helium will bring the pitch of the voice back to its normal state. So, go try it and see how you really sound and see what your voice sounds like to me when I read your posts. Now ask why people cant take you seriously.
  6. No. If you read my post a bit back I said I had two meters. 100% there is only one cable from my house and the reason that is only needed is explained above. The one basic thing to understand about electricity is that it is quite clever in that it flows the easiest route. Think of a car and it alt. It runs to generate electricity and recharge your battery. The battery has a - and + cable. Think of any rechargeable battery, it just works backwards using a secondary cell. Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grid_tie_inverter also I thought this guy made a good answer on another forum:
  7. West Ham are shite away from home. But they have two players who will fancy their game today. I see Nolan as the bigger threat, mark him out of the game and win 2-0.
  8. I'm no sparky but like most have a basic understanding. As I said earlier, I have two meters now one counts what I use and one what I produce. They are both in my outside box. Also, just checked my online statement from E.On and it shows a 26% annual reduction in electricity use since last year (got my PVs in Feb).
  9. Yes i do and I do get payments for it. As for wiring, no and I can't be arsed to draw one.
  10. Btw, if you were wanting to invest on energy, thermo-dynamics will prob be the next big thing. Thats for heating more than electricity though.
  11. Aye, the whole leap of faith thing.
  12. "Im fucking bored of this place, think I'll have a bottle fuck until the bingo starts"
  13. I have them installed, I also sell some panels through work. There is no scan as such, the only I would call a scam is that the companies who offer you "free" panels. What actually happens is they keep your FIT (feed in tariff) and you get the panels for nowt. Its not as good a deal for them as it was as the price per kW figure has dropped. Unless that is you had them installed as I did before the previous deadline back in march. I get a payment from my energy company once a Qtr or something. Your inverter (the bit that connects to the panels inside your loft (in my case anyway) has a meter on that tells me what the panels are doing at that time. I also have a meter installed that tells me a reading of what has been generated. you give them a reading every now and again. If you want them, you also need to consider elevation and angle of your roof.
  14. Not sure why I keep staring in case something different happens
  15. I lost hours of my life to that game. Surprised more havent pledged tbf.
  16. All done like, away there isnt a bad point.
