  1. Wolfy, really, supplements? Do you have any idea what you're on about? Tell, which of these do you consider bad, or would you say all are equal? Or do you really had no idea at all? Do you know the differences between them? Do you think a certain type of person should take any at all? Can all of them come from food? - thermobol - hydroxycut - mono creatine - whey protein - casine protein - branch chain amino acid - waxy maize starch - common multi vit - krill oil - omega fish oil You are right though, moderate exercise is perfectly fine for most normal people and if everyone done just that while eating normal we'd have far less health issues. Sadly, processed heavy foods are far from normal. Tasty though
  2. But Stevie, youo must see how he is going on man. you know how laid back I am, but fuck me. Every day he is bleeting on about this place again and again. the same shit over and over. Randomly tweeting footballers and journo's about how bad TT is. He puts it in his twitter bio. Again he goes on and on. Then reignites his old forum and says its for a place for people to char like adults??? fuck me sideways!
  3. My first reaction to this was disgust, but after sitting back and considering it more, I fail to see how anyonein football can really be so high and mighty morally on this one subject? We have chelsea fans backing JT, mackems backing Bramble, we have racism, homophobia and gingerism. We have a league sponsor who manipulated bank libor rates and is under investigation, numerous clubs sponsored by gambling outfits or alcohol companies and players on >£100K per week. Can we really talk about morals? Really? Wongas business model preys like vultures on the desperate, but its one of a long line of companies.
  4. What bollocks. You can't just say weight train and take supplements without quantifying either statement. Rubbish man.
  5. I started with him when I was 30 as well Tbf hill walking, or walking in general is good for you.
  6. Bollocks My dad is 65 and he took up hill walking about 10yr ago. He stopped smoking and cut down his drinking. He still has a couple of cans a night. But on a recent check up his blood pressure was massively improved. The older you get I think the more aware of your mortality you can (not necessarily will) become.
  7. My first reaction was disgust but this quickly slid in to apathy when I considered it more and realised its not so different to many others when it comes down to it. A bigger stink will be made if we sign no one this next window (not from this money, just in general)
  8. Im 8 weeks in to my fasting routine the side effect being I also eat less cals per day. Eating much cleaner. Near zero simple carbs, complex carbs daily, no processed carbs at all. A little fruit, lots of veg, stacks of good protein and good fats. I do a 3 day split on weights and 20 min cardio the same day plus one more days cardio. So not training over the top. I've only lost about 1/2 stone but about 2"'off my waist which is the idea. Not to lose weight but change composition.
  9. I noticed his remark but didn't pick up on it as never considered the above. Bang out of order like. The bloke has zero self awareness. I entertained his mumbling on here now and again but even in taken aback by tr way he has gone on. I mean, slating TT to all and sundry then bleating about being adult. Really?
  10. I suppose it's easy to dislike Wonga as they are immoral on the surface. Other companies just hide it better.
  11. I can see both sides tbf. I'd rather pay 150% than 4000 Then again, I remember Nufc using child labour thai factories to make our shirts.
  12. Its quite a cute move really. They must have anticipated a backlash about the name and so got them to put the stadium back to appease fans. A good point was made on the radio though that while Wonga are morally questionable up front, most companies that sponsor shirts are if you look at them closely. Gambling companies? Standard Charter? etc.
  13. There is one thing lending money and another lending money easier, targeted at the low-mid income and charging massive APR. We are working class club (I view us as anyway) and I think its more a sensitive issue than say BAE locally. Again, more so its just a shit name.
  14. I'd have a massive issue if it effected the stadium name, but we are told it wont. As for the shirts, well Id like to say Morally I think its wrong, but really when it comes down to it, its just a bit shit isnt it? Not only is Wonga a morally corrupt company but the name itself is wank (to coin a stevie phrase).
  15. Off the back of the last thread, any album art that impressed? These from memory :
  16. That site has some belters like
  17. So Joey wont be joining us now. That make me sad.
  18. I like the look of him and he is still a bairn. Has a wicked cross and a left pegger. Needs filling out like.
  19. I wear mine in two places. The match (current strip) or the gym (older tops or other strips I like that I buy - currently botafogo & acm)
