i was excited about the start of last season because of the players we had bought, (gez, viduka, barton and beye and cacapa even though i hadn't really heard of them two) but i didn't really care about smith didn't bother me that we had signed him and wouldn't have bothered me if we hadn't.

you could have atleast put in a bit of effort into coming up with something about me

He palmed it right in to his path. HF so. Im not sure he had much choice in the whole matter. i agree with danny here like. if gomes didn't get his hand to it it was likely the player running in at the back post would have scored anyway. I also think gomes is a decent keeper. he is a very good shot stopper and is decent at coming out to catch crosses, (something given never does), but i would say he is also prone to mistakes. from what i seen of him at psv i thought he was a very good keeper

i wouldn't say i don't like you lex luther. you try and act like a cleverdick when i really don't think you are as intelligent as you think. Ok Einstein. i knew your response would be something like that. Predictable

Given I've pulled him up on stuff before I fail to see how I'm a hypocrite. Pulled up for fuck sake pulled up pmsl...aye and been told to pipe down and no mistake. i really resent siding with stevie on anything but alex comes across as a right charmless cunt. I thought the fish was the king of self important wankyness until alex posted his views in here. alex just tries to be a cleverdick all the time. what does pmsl mean aswel? can't believe i don't know this when stevie does when hes like 50

will agger be playing instead of skrtel if he is injured for a long time? reason i'm asking is because i need to decide whether to keep agger in my team or not

He'd get nowhere near Arsenal's team. I hear Wenger doesn't really like players who run into blind alleys for the majority of the time. He's only ever played in a shit team here and has often shone, he's still a kid really, a talented kid, I think he will play for Arsenal one day and be a regular. He's got all the basic attributes Wenger demands of a player. come on stevie you must be kidding

i would love it if spurs got relegated

Once again did pretty well when he came on and did very well when he set zog up If he was gong to pass he had to do it earler as Zog was alongisde him and would have had a tap in, having gone past the defender he had to be looking to score himself, tho he did manage to get it to Zog but defenders were on the line by then. The chance he trundled well wide of the post later was an easy chance and he fucked it up. And he had one moment when they lost the ball it was played forward and he was clear, about a yard ahead of the defender and the guy just strolled past him and took the ball. I used to be one of the few people who defended him but he's basically a waste of time, stick a kid on who'll run themsleves into the ground and fight for everything ahead of him, they also might be able to shoot, as he in all his time at NUFC has yet to hit a ball cleanely, he's scored the odd goal but he can't strike the ball. i dont rate him but i think he did alot more today than what xisco would have done. no matter what you say about the zog chance he stil did very well and it was only a great block that stopped the goal. i know he didnt do very well when the defender caught up to him but the same would have happened for viduka or xisco and has noone mentioned his berbatov skill over on the right wing because that was amazing

Gerry Francis offered coaching role at Newcastle

If he has been appointed I genuinely wish him all the best, but it doesn't stop me in the privacy of this board to unleash an "OMFG" of disappointment. Of course it doesn't, but that doesn't contradict anything I said either though, does it? When did I say that it did ? So the point of you saying what you said was? In fact don't bother answering, it's entirely irrelevant, this has already turned into a "you said..." - "I said..." thing, and I have neither the time or the inclination to get involved in one of those. I'm off out to the pub instead, that's fun, talking about NUFC isn't. In fact forget I even posted, it's a pointless waste of time talking about this at the moment, see you later, maybe. why sign up to a NUFC forum then? That's a good fucking question and in fact it is by far and away the most intelligent response to what I posted so far, well done trigg, I salute you. -
thats what im doing. i think fifa is pretty shit and i wont be playing much 1 on 1s but the only reason i will buy both is because i think the fifa 10 vs 10 will be alot more fun than anything pro evo has to offer

Also for the people that do spend money at the match I'm sure they would rather have their 3 pints as they are guarenteed to be getting something from their money.
-
Not everyone that goes to the match buys any food or drink. I would have thought there will be people that may be wanting to join the supporters club that don't go to the match.
-
thats not the point i was making. Surely the more members they get the better and the £10 joining fee will put alot of people off. Also if they made it so people have the choice to how much they want to donate they may also get people donating more than £10. Another reason why it would be better doing this imo is because if they need to raise money for a specific thing they could put on their website ' we need to raise £____ to fund _____. then people know what the money is being used for and are more likely to donate. I know what you mean but I'm sure some people will donate more anyway - £10 gets you your say. It's basically paying for unity and not the rabble outside of the ground that SSN tends to pick up and make us look like idiots. So the £10 joining fee is to keep the rif-raf out?

but they will get more members and possibly just as much money as they will have more people donating less money
-
why not make it free and ask people to donate what they can afford?
