  1. Replying to stevie.............. Then you need to be better informed. You`re quite simply wrong. They think we`re cunts because we`ve won more than any of them have. It`s jealousy. football is about winning, that is the main objective. We have done more of that than any other English team and that breeds contempt amongst others. The biggest boooos this season were when your "fans" booooooed Fat Sam for being a realist and forced the return of the fairy godmother. Saying Liverpool has the worst support in the PL really makes you sound fairly thick. Ever heard of the Kop?..................known the world over.............wonder why that is?...................make you look even sillier.
  2. Keegan really is a fairy godmother. Signing a player who is well past his best for a crazy free and paying him daft wages and yet everybody thinks it`s ok........................brilliant!
  3. If that's the truth accross the pond it doesn't hurt at all to be honest. Well done. I suppose you must be right about Rafa as well. Maybe we should have gone for Keegan. Your turn to be honest Redshadow - how much longer do you really think Benitez will last? Regardless of whether you think he's a good manager (we could fight all day on that one) and just talking about the state of your club and his relationship with the fans/management, do you see him in charge next season? He`ll be there for the next 10 years. Something which really scares the crap out of the media and rival fans. He is only getting started.
  4. Lovely post. Completely inaccurate of course................but what the hell! He seems to know a lot about underachieving, wonder why that is?
  5. Attendance records mean fuck all, they are only a straw to grasp when you have fuck all else to cheer about. Liverpool has great support and a terrific atmosphere and I was at the first game V your lot this season and all you could muster was booooooooooooooooo. It was truly pathetic. If we had only 10,000 at a game we`d create a better atmosphere than you because our expectation is way way higher.
  6. http://www.lfchistory.net/viewgame.asp?game_id=2471 Liverpool 3 - 0 Portsmouth Game Date :: 17.03.2004 Competition :: Premier League Stadium :: Anfield Spectators :: 34,663 http://www.lfchistory.net/viewgame.asp?game_id=4867 Liverpool 1 - 1 Portsmouth Game Date :: 14.12.2004 Competition :: Premier League Stadium :: Anfield Spectators :: 35,064 Didn't mention average gates, but 33-34,000 for league games pathetic, notice against Pompey as well, note they had no bother getting 45,000 for their glory games against us and Man Utd. They all came flocking back after they won the CL though, funny that. Came flocking back after the CL is a bit ott even for someone like you. So we had a low gate for a couple of games, the average for 2004 was still 42, 706 and we are still 2nd in the all time attendances league. Only because we spent 24 years of our existence in the second tier, as a club you haven't averaged over 50,000 in your history. The stadium doesn`t hold 50,000 so it`s mathematically impossible you tit.
  7. Really stupid post. Rafa is correct. It might sound bitter but he`s correct. Why were there 5 minutes of added time I`ll never know (brown envelope anyone!)...............but I suppose it was better than last time when they had 6! We`ll take this at the bridge. How does quoting a newspaper constitute a stupid post exactly? Take yer time. Can you show me which newspaper printed the headline "Benitez souding bitter, beaten and broken"? ....................thought not....................but take yer time!
  8. Really stupid post. Rafa is correct. It might sound bitter but he`s correct. Why were there 5 minutes of added time I`ll never know (brown envelope anyone!)...............but I suppose it was better than last time when they had 6! We`ll take this at the bridge. I will run around Newcastle naked shouting "ey la Liverpool are well boss", whilst wearing a sweat stained adidas Candy Liverpool top, if you get to the final. I know you're easily the luckiest club in the world, I just think given their record at SB even luck won't help you this time. Does that make you "the unluckiest club in the world" then.......................................I know which I`d rather be! We still have a good chance and probably will prevail as usual. You haven't beaten Chelsea there since a very lucky Bruno Cheyrou goal, I think that's the last time you even scored there? Then there`s an issue that needs addressing. I might actually be going as my company have a box at SB, fingers crossed. I'll be supporting the club with the fans who consider themselves English. Well to be fair half the other clubs support is Norwegian or Irish. How you could really support another club is strange. I will be supporting England`s most successful club and a TRUE European giant with worldwide support.....................so we`re on different sides. I only support one club, and one national team, however I also will to win anyone playing arsehole clubs like you Spurs or the mackems, there's a difference. As for worldwide support, your support is fuckin shit, 33,000 in the league under Houllier where were your Norwegians then, and your Pakistani's? Not at fuckin Anfield that's for certain. 33,000 and still louder than your shabby lot. The only thing I`ve heard you do well is boooooooooooooooooo...................and that`s not surprising.

England`s most successful club is not in Manchester................but because you know so little about success I`ll give you another guess................

  13. That's the same in most games now though. Injury time seems to have little to do with anything on the pitch. Well normally there are at least things like goals, substitutions, where the referees are adviced to add time, or prolonged breaks for player treatment that can be taken into consideration. But regardless of what Wykiki says I can't really think of anything in the second half that actually warranted added time. As for Benitez whinging, it isn't just the managers from top clubs who do it, but nearly every manager (Robson for us as well) does moan about the referee if things are not going to plan. So I don't see how you can see it as him losing the plot. There`s a lot of pressure with that job and of course there`s going to be moaning from all managers. The original poster of this thread is simply jealous of Liverpool.

  15. I hope you lot win as I hate Keane and K.K. was my childhood idol (albeit a crap manager).
  16. Rumour has it that if we win the 3rd battle v Chelski.............................we get to keep them!
  17. You`re sooooooooooo narrow-minded it`s scary. Have you ever left your own backyard?...............it`s 2008 you know! explain? guess it's all done to the argument that you shouldn't be able to just choose a team to support really, it should be in the blood. Which is idiotic. You can choose what tv you watch and what you buy in a shop regardless of where they come from..................so why not choose your team? Football went global a long time ago and will continue to go that way and will leave hillbillies behind. It`s a funny thing that such narrow-minded people think it`s not ok to support a club that is not "local".................................yet the same clowns love to dign "foreign" stars and play in Europe. Without our legions of foreign supporters we`d be a small time backwater club like Everton, who, would never want "out of towners" at their games but still think their a big club Are you trying to tell me you've never been to a game? How in heavens name did you come to that conclusion from my post?....can you read?.. Kind of ironic that you chose Frank Spenser as your avatar. I go to about 15 games a season. Torres do ya na wtf your talking about? Liverpool are a club that have clearly pressed the self destruct button and are not heading the right way, fair enough it may not have had an effect on the performances, but look at whats happening behind the scenes. Is that what a "big club" should be doing? There`s often been "turmoil" behind the scenes at Real, Barca, Manuscum, Milan, Juve and other big clubs and we are no exception to that. I think it will be good for us as only the stronger will win this squabble and I hope it`s Hicks as he has more ambition and grit than the others. I soooo hope we bring old big ears (Nickname for the European cup) back home in the middle of this. How many clubs could have had this hassle and ended up in the CL Semis for the third time in four years?.........................not many! We`ll prevail because of our brand and worldwide support regardless of how this pans out.

  22. It`ll be untenable for a while and somebody will eventually sell. I like Hicks and he is certainly the type of ambitious character to take us forward.
  23. Sorry!! How much is Kewell on again???? Did I say that I agreed with what Kewell is paid? No, I didn`t. I said paying Martins 90K a week is worthy of an eye-roll. In fact, it is retarded if true. Anyway Kewell is not on 90K a week. Did he say Kewell was on 90k a week? Did I say he did?
