Anelka wasn`t at Liverpool long enough to regress and played well while he was there. At City I`m not sure, but many players regress at Chelski. I thought Liverpool looked excellent going forward when they had a front 3 of him, Owen and Heskey. They were a real handful with plenty of pace, power and movement. Didn't Houllier sign Diouf instead that summer? I think that was a year later. Not sure to be honest. I remember you lot murdering us down at your place though with that front 3.
