  1. I for one am shocked that he couldn't single handedly beat three defenders.
  2. To be fair is that not the trophy with the highest prize money in the game?
  3. Yes on both counts. We do have players with the transitional pace and intensity to mask that, just none of them are fit. FFS in the mystical 5th minute, cruel deflection.
  4. Elanga was going down before Gordon touched him, good refereeing and VAR.
  5. No level of confidence is going to give Burn pace. It is a weird setup, I think it's down to Howe wanting to nullify Gibbs-White's defensive presence which it has to a degree. But it's also served to further open up our defensive frailties. Great strike Schär, best technique of any centre back we've ever had.
  6. On Elanga? By that measure @Monkeys Fist is on Margot Robbie.
  7. It's almost like this will make him double down on his decision. We've shown our weakness and everyone is taking advantage. Space is Burn's enemy and the way we play ensures that if we turn it over they will have it. Our midfield were wildly out of position for the goal mind you, which meant that Gibbs-White had all the time and space in the world to set up a race that could have only one winner. Dubravka probably right to charge out, good/lucky finish between the legs.
  8. TOT couldn't turn but wasn't dead slow in a straight line.
  9. We're so stubborn that we're now trying attacking through balls for Burn.
  10. Us: "Are you going to change your passive play now that you're losing?" Them: "No, we're just going to wait and when we do get the ball send our fastest players at Burn." Us: "OK." A stalemate in our favour..... so far.
  11. You'd have to think Barnes will start. The real interest will be who plays LB and I guess whether Wilson starts also.
  12. Raising its profile and improving the quality of Saudi players as well you would think. Bloody expensive exercise.
  13. At some point in time the crutches will transition from walking aids to blue bin dipper whackers.
  14. And crucially only a friction injury to Tindall's bell end.
  15. Luton used a lot more subs. Didnwe have anyone left on the bench that could have come on to change the game? We really should have won it with that Bruno cross for Murphy.
  16. When you look at who we have coming back calling for a rebuild is a bit premature. Barnes just back with a super positive return, Willock, Anderson getting close. Isak to be back before long. If we start the season with everyone fit it's a different beast to what we've encountered this season. On top of the above we also have Tonali back. We're quite stacked in midfield but we desperately need to strengthen our options up top. Having two strikers in our squad is crazy, even more so when they're Wilson and Isak. I'm not sure what will happen with Hall, but it's clear that Howe doesn't think he currently fits into his vision and that's despite Burn being routinely showed up. We can't afford to pay big money for a chance that he will overcome his weaknesses so surely we'll be trying to get out of any obligation.
