Cabbage's sack of useless shite v The Special One's special ones
OTF replied to sammynb's topic in Newcastle Forum
I was actually going to say earlier that he has actually been useful so far as a target/hold up man, and now he's scored to give us the lead for about a minute. -

We look slightly better in attack than we have in some time. A comparative visual smorgasbord. -

Joelinton in the starting 11, nailed on three points. -
I do remember it, it's a fucking right cracker of a tale.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Reported. Call me naive, but I thought Nobby only blew his own trumpet. -
This game was a whole team failing to give a fuck. It's remarkable that Ashley and Charnley could pay compensation to appoint someone jn Bruce who anyone with a skerrick of knowledge knew with certainty would be a terrible appointment. Bizarrely, on top of that there seems to be a sizeable payout owing if he is removed from the position. Truly logic defying, but finds similar company with not only the purchase of Joelinton but also his continued inclusion in the team.

If Brighton are dreadful then there needs to be some new adjectives created to describe us.

Nice work Essembee.

When you're talking about fat twats at Newcastle United you'll need to be much more specific.

The team energy is just non existent and was like that from the start. Have to blame them collectively for that, though we know where the real problems start. It's highlighted countless individual failings but for me it all comes down to the lack of collective commitment painting the picture of how rotten things are.

I'm a fool because I honestly thought we would at least have tried in a game like this.

Look at the tracking back from Brighton at 2-0 up, epitomises how much bettwr they are and why we fully deserve to be heading to the championship.

Stick the fork in.

Have got to say that I think this has been the most passive, heartless performance I have ever seen in such an important fixture. Embarrassing.
-
Nothing less than we deserve.
-
Sorry I was wrong, this was the last thing we needed.
-
Last thing we needed was an injury to Hayden.

Ryan Fraser is a lazy little prick. Multiple times he's not been bothered to track a player, plainly doesn't give a shit.

Here comes TOT.

Dubravka fatigued. Makes sense, he's been our busiest player.

Some people will try to tell you that football is all about controlling possession, field position and the pace of the game. Not so. We've plainly got a plan to counter attack with efficiency and precision and it's all going according to that plan. We only need to improve on our shooting accuracy and our general shooting (you know, actually having a shot) as well as our transition from defense into attack and our winning of the ball. All of the rest of it we're putting on a masterclass, except the defending aspects.
