I'm not suggesting QPR money, but something to bridge the gap a little could be enough to sway him back. Not suggesting that the club be held to ransom in any way, but at some point reality needs to be faced. If we don't have any viable alternatives on the go then the prospect of adding noone up front becomes very real and ultimately very scary.

Needs emphasising. Not saying it's entirely down to complacency or anything like that but Cisse regardless of the way he plays is guaranteed a starting spot at the moment. Santon is the same. With Steven Taylor out Williamson is in the same position too.

Many of the hoofs come from Williamson, so replace him in the side and that's a big step towards changing the way we play. Next they need to work on improving Krul's kicking and getting him to look for shorter more accurate passing options as he's another prime candidate. Simpson being replaced in the first team by Debuchy should help as well.
