  1. All of our shots (5) have come from outside the box. But never mind Ferguson is on, replacing Perch. Positive early move from Pardew
  2. Forgettable first half with plenty to talk about in the sheds at the break. Individually personnel are doing ok but the teamwork and the spark just isn't there. Definitely some hangover from the tactics against Swansea I feel. At the same time Bolton have defended well and look the fresher of the teams despite having played more recently.
  3. A yard off being into the perfect area from Ben Arfa. Not gelling as we are at the moment should be looking to get as many set pieces as we can at them.
  4. Not sure why 'advantage' was played then, 'twas bloody advantage to them!
  5. Colo takes it on himself after some pointless Swansee-esque passing and very nearly lays one on for Ba.
  6. Bit of a hangover from the Swansea match, and credit to them also for keeping their intencity up.
  7. Also in Australia, so there should be some feeds out there.
  8. And if not you can always slip em something like normal. Their best player is Petrov on his day. Hope he's not interested today.
  9. Crazy that there isn't any serious talk about his sacking. Sure he might have a connection to the club and the fans but there's no connection to the yanks that are bank rolling their sinking ship. One could only reason that their Carling Cup win is one reason, the other, the fact that they're still in the FA Cup. With their current form exit from the FA Cup is a likely outcome (annoying for us). If that happens they would have to consider getting rid of him so they can give the incoming manager a rolling start for the offseason. More power to everyone else the longer they keep him. Hansen on MOTD last night talking about backing him to the hilt, whatever happens, is the sort of deluded mindset the rest of the lfc fans have What exactly are they backing though? Carling Cup aside he's shown no redeeming features as a manager. To keep their current level of wages in place they'll have to be pushing for champions league football as there's little in winning the domestic cups. In the meantime their blinding loyalty is good for everyone else.

    Perch

No. Williamson was good against Swansea. His height is an asset both in defending corners and taking them. Perch is better as a midfield spoiler without a doubt.

  12. If they don't take him it will be everything to do with his demeanour in the past and nothing to do with his ability. He has expressed remorse for his behaviour so if no grudges are held he should be there. Just the type of player that you need in a tournament, creative, talented and with a point to prove. At the end of the day though it's the French so who knows?
  13. Miskicked it, oh dear, way to embarrass themselves further. The truly stupid part is that if they accepted that it was a brilliant finish it's in their interest. The bitterness from them in a match where they barely created a meaningful chance is astounding, and for what? Absolute Gold on the photoshops @yourservice!
  14. Their best hopes were pile drivers from outside the box. Says it all about the value of their possession.
  15. Whatever victory they want to take from it they're welcome to. Three points is all we ever went there to take.
  16. I just stand up for victims of bullying. Aye, CT and Deano were your pet projects. They were the bullies.
  17. And that's what makes him such a good poster... Not disagreeing with you in the slightest tho! Like when he said he knew that we'd be turned over to the tune of big numbers against Spurs yet in the prediction thread he'd picked us to win. Love it.
  18. Doesn't make sense to rush anyone back too early - particularly, whilst Williamson and Perch are doing a good job.
  19. Thing is he was 100% accurate with those comments. The re-birth of Perch has been something of a phenomenon with absolutely no sign that it was coming.
  20. You may be right, it's been a good season for them on the whole, but for all their possession they score precious fuck all which to me would be like being married to Jessica Alba but never being able to seal the deal. Sure, it's nice to look at, but sooner or later you just want to score.
  21. Are you a pro footballer? Replace the word pro with rubbish and you'd be closer to the mark. I realise my comments sound like the normal clap-trap you hear from players, but the reason they say that is because it's drilled into them by management. As supporters we can make as many predictions as we like but all I am hoping is that our players take nothing for granted and continue to take their current level of enthusiasm into each and every match.
  22. Great that this is a tough choice for all the good reasons. Krul and Colo were the core of the side so critical in laying the foundation for our great start to the season, so it would have to be one of them. Most likely Coloccini.
  23. Just need to focus on each game as it comes. Worry about our own results and we end up where we end up. Europa is a fantastic result, Champions League would be out of this world. One game at a time.
  24. Tell me about it. Must be frustrating being a Swansea supporter.
