Sammy was trying to avoid Strats and Les Pauls 'cos so many people play them, but Malmsteen was one of the first I thought of when it came to Iconic guitars/players along Eric Clapton, Slash and David Gilmour etc. There are quite a few people who have played a lot of different make and models of guitar, or have changed a lot through there are career.
