  1. At which stage did Hull start to fuck up in the 08-09 season? I know it was after they played Man City. In other words, how many points were they on after 11 games? Tried to find out myself but can't find data.
  2. 24-page threads about our matches? What is up with that? I mean seriously!
  3. "Alan Pardew is looking forward to a fortnight without a game for his Newcastle United side, so they can hopefully get some of their walking wounded back to fitness. Already without the likes of Cheik Tiote (knee), Shola Ameobi (hamstring) and Gabriel Obertan (toe), Saturday's 2-1 victory over Everton at St. James' Park came at a cost as another trio of players suffered injuries which forced them off. Midfielders Yohan Cabaye and Sylvain Marveaux, and striker Leon Best all hobbled off during the win, to leave the Magpies' squad looking stretched to the limit. But there is now an international break, meaning Newcastle are not back in action until 19th November when they travel to Manchester City. And that gives the Club's medical staff some time to work with the players. "Cabaye felt his groin, Best hurt his toe and groin and Sylvain did his groin as well," explained Pardew. "When you get clipped like that, it opens up the groin. Two of them were identical kinds of injury. My guess is both those will miss Man City, but we will have to wait and see. "We are probably missing too many at the moment - no Cheik, no Obertan, no Sylvain, no Cabaye, no Shola - we are a little bit down on numbers, so it would be nice to get a couple back for two weeks' time."
  4. Well ... 2nd was nice for the 1 1/2 hours or so that it lasted.
  5. De Gea on the bench. No doubt Sir Alex will be looking for a new keeper come January.
  6. Indeed, good comparison. In the end, we won because Everton were poo. Don't mind Everton, if only because of Cahill. They'll be alright though, despite current position.
  7. Want to know as soon as possible what's wrong with Dreamboat.
  8. It's a play on 'down under'. It's the same for Oz Toon Fan. whats it mean down under is it like your below us or something Yes, something like that. So, who wants the Mackems to win this afternoon?

  10. Just thinking the same. Now we have to survive a corner... thought Cahill was going to one of his ninja jobs.
  11. Crowd seems silent ... boost the lads for fuck's sake!
  12. If Everton score in the next five, they'll win this outright by the full 90.
  13. Fuck me ... our midfield being decimated. Time for HBA.
  14. At least we've still got Hatem and Santon on the bench.
  15. I've got a bad feeling my countryman will get the goal for the Toffies.
  16. Ignoring that goal ... just had a look at RTG. Why do they have match threads on OUR games? It's up to 24 pages! The pick of the bunch? 17. Fourteen days for Cabaye (and Tiote and Shola) to repair.
  18. Happy to give to a great cause! (I appreciate the gesture, but don't worry about the pic. Don't take offence—I'm sure they're great—but really, no need.
  19. Sexy and sassy ... and plays good football, too!
