  1. and within an hour of going to press llambias cancelled the meeting with the fans on Thursday Evening. so much for communication, openness and a new beginning.
  2. However the "clueless cunts" that you so highly speak of had a selection of questions agreed with the reporter, all of which were with the proviso that if they arent answered then it will be made clear in the article thats what happened. So you'll know if any of those damning ones were refused because it will say "No Comment" or the like. NUSC are money grabbing attention seeking arseholes , the idea is right but it's ran by whinging old cunts who have published nothing but cringeworthy statements through TF. so who mentioned NUSC in this thread and what have they got to do with the chronicle / journal asking questions to LLambias about NUFC. we can take it you wont be at their rally then; too busy shopping with mammy wearing your anorak and with the gloves strung together down the sleeves incase you lose one. grow up
  3. meeting took place on friday afternoon and the first responses to the Q&A session will be published in tuesday night's chronicle and followed on in wednesday's journal.
  4. only flaw of course is that all the clubs money IS Ashleys money; cos Ashley owns the club. if the last few transfer windows are anything to go on we will conduct ourselves in the summer in exactly the same way while Ashley trousers the £40m as a recoup on his investment. Its a golden goose for him, the ebst business deal he ever conducted. At a time when rescession is hitting most of his other businesses he can rely on ready cash from the coffers of his football club - its his own private little bank.
  5. And more Scousers than Geordies in our team OWEN; thats 5
  6. or that west ham caused my fatther in law to lose thousands on a holiday to florida when XL went down the pan tit
  7. according to last nights chronicle its £5.9 spread over 4 years for Given; which if true mens they negotiated for 2 weeks for 900k after city offered £5m and kinnear called it an insult understand where your coming from with the reduction in wage bill scenario. unfortnately rather than following his arsenal model he's following the path of a West Brom; relegation; clear out, parachute payment to balance the books or set up of a small warchest and hope we come up at first/second attempt. similar technique used at Bolton over the years. big gamble; ask Derby; Leeds, Leicester, southampton, norwich, ipswich, coventry to name but a few established div1/prem clubs who slipped out and havent made it back. i personally think he is wrong if thats what he's thinking. it is destined to fail - he will succeed in taking us down; stars will leave and the wage bill will be trimmed significantly; but there it will end. we wont be coming back up and he wont be forgiven for destroying our premier league status. the squad will be decimated, wont be replaced by quality and we will languish in the fizzy pop league. ashley wise and llambias have over seen a disaster; nolan cost £4.5m; taylor was a makeweight valued at £2m making the gross Nzogbia deal £8m; shay realistically went for £8m minimum or Ashley got his eyes taken out again (didnt you do due diligence on given and compare to sunderlands reserve keeper that cost them £9m) he's trousered £9.5m profit during this window alone.
  8. Mmm, he hasn't looked best pleased for a while, and he looks less than pleased in the photo with Ryan Taylor - forced smile if I ever saw one I guess even the most clueless manager in the league would have to eventually work out that hes working with complete fuckwits http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...1542923,00.html He's a complete fuckwit himself like. I didn't realise he had a gun to his head forcing him to stay for the reputed fortune he's on either. he'll walk into the next board meeting and it will go something like this JFK ..."which one of you is mike Ashley"................ MA reply "i'm mike Ashley" ................. jfk ....Ashley, yer a c***
  9. you would imagine any deal to bring johnson would have been included in thie prolonged discussion with city regarding Given. unless of course this is Ashley suddenly "wiseing" up to the fact that we are desperately short of personnel.
  10. if your Shola, about £30k a week !!!
  11. there is every possibility we turn into a leeds i or a sheff wed if we get relegated. by that i mean that we dont come straight back up. we then start to reduce costs on the playimng side and find that other clubs in that division and leaner and meaner than us or that they use their parachute payments better because their financial position allows them to. i agree with what your saying; enscewd article but still possble - the R word
  12. more importantly; dave whelan would never sell him to ashley for 800k; unless they have buried the hatched. there is certainly no love lost bnetween the two.
  13. from tonights chron “With the credit crunch being the way it is, and the fact he has put in £260m into the club and £100m in for wages, Mike Ashley has done the best he could". that makes it £360m according to my cse grade 2 maths; (1976)
  14. is the Robinho spokesman chris nathaniel the same guy who was acting on behalf of the Nigerian consortium trying to buy the toon.
  15. Mike Ashley won't risk Newcastle fans' wrath on return Mike Ashley, the Newcastle United owner, will on Wednesday night watch his team in action for the first time since fans angrily turned on him following Kevin Keegan's resignation - Rob Stewart, The Telegraph The sports retail tycoon will watch Newcastle take on Manchester City at Eastlands, but it seems he will enjoy the comfort of the directors' box or an executive box rather than don his replica shirt and sit among restive travelling fans. It will be the first time Ashley has witnessed a Newcastle game live since he was spotted watching on during a 3-0 defeat at Arsenal last August. The club were rocked days later when manager Keegan quit Newcastle and a fans' backlash against the 'Cockney Mafia' prompted him to put the club up for sale amid fears for his family's safety. Ashley could also be present when his director of football, Dennis Wise, holds talks with City's executive chairman Garry Cook in an attempt to finalise goalkeeper Shay Given's £10 million move from Newcastle. Given's understudy Steve Harper has signed a new 3½-year contract and is expected to face City alongside Joey Barton, who could face a hostile reception on his first return to the club since a £5.8 million transfer to Tyneside. Newcastle manager Joe Kinnear has been fined £500 by the Football Association for branding Martin Atkinson a "Mickey Mouse referee" following a 2-1 defeat at Fulham on Nov 9. A charge of using abusive and insulting words towards a match official during his side's 2-2 draw with Stoke on Dec 6 was found "not proved". Wonder if this means he will do the same on Sunday unless he's just going to citeee to pick up and bank the cheque for Shay
  16. or knowing our club, cycle in pelaton formation. seriously, your probably right Tom;
  17. does anyone know whether the players still travel the night before to away games or is cost cutting now seeing us take them on coach journeys on the day of the game. just wondering, cos i bumped into guttierez at the metro centre at 6.30 this evening; unless of course he is injured, and not involved. didnt ask him cos it never crossed my mind until later. if we are penny pinching; sorry, economising, then surely a 2.30 minute coach drive on the day of a premiership game is not the best of preparation
  18. just realised my typo; obviously i meant that we show the cabal at NUFC that we are together and united. i hate technology me; bring back the biro !
  19. Not renew their Season Tickets. I see... I was under the impression that was a given and you were implying that there was going to be something else... i hope we all agree that we need to do something; need to organise ourselves and need to be seen doing something. Big demos, small gestures, humiliation of the SJP cabal of wise, llambias and ultimately as Ashley. come out fighting; try everything and anything to keep the problems we have with them in the media. the most important thing as i see it is that we do this together; supporters united behind a common cause. militants like kid dynamite have a place to sit at the table, so too do PP and his management speak; why; because we are all geordies, all fans and all wanting positive change. i honesty think if we stay united we can achieve something. we show a united front, dont show the cabal we are together and that they dont own the soul of NUFC. we do
  20. think the club needs to nip this in the bud pretty quick if banks have been in contact with them as some report then a simple statement would suffice, putting such rumours to bed. anyway, if something had gone on i'm sure the club would have been in touch to let season ticket holders know not to worry
  21. my mate got scammed for £200 a day for 5 days before he found out; happened 2 days after buying a match ticket for visiting relative; co incidence ?; all bank withdrawals were london - bank still investigating. heard of another guy had 12 attempts on his cards - credit and debit; paid for ST with DC and 2 years extension on CC - both hit. bank couldnt understand how both cards could be done at once.
  22. spotted this on a thread on another forum; anyone come across such problems ? This is something that has cropped up more times than you can be comfortable with. Basically, if you used your credit & debit cards to pay for your ST renewal, check your statements as several people who did this have had unauthorised transactions from their bank accounts in the hundreds. Lloyds fraud department have noticed that there seems to be a correlation between regional unauthorised withdrawals & ST payments/renewals via plastic. It should be noted, that no-one is saying the club are complicit with any possible theft, just that someone seems to have been using them as the vehicle to gaining numbers. Check your recent statements & your statements to come.
  23. Is that 20 taking into account salaries? why? do salaries get paid a a lumpa at SJP - most people get paid weekly or monthly how many companies dont take people on cos they havent already got their salary banked for the next 4 years. he could of re mortgaged the debt at the time it became apparent that it was there to be settled. he chose not too and used cash to pay it off; SJH was devious in not mentioning it - perhaps we need to fire some flack to him too.
  24. Who would work with him? He treats his shareholders like shit, treats the fans like shit and treats his staff like shit. I suppose there's a chance of an Ashley / Kemsley dream time. Aye, another 'bonus', following on from what I said about the reputation of the club at present and those in charge, is that Ashley has seemingly built up a terrible name for himself in financial circles as well. so; we are in the shit; we owe our owner £100m and his trading arm of NUFC lost £30m ? according to a report on the accounts of the club - have we physically seen these accounts by the way. £100m by the way is only one third of what MA lost in playing the stocks and gambling on HBOS. these figures compare quite favourably with Arsenal. who have a serviceable debt of £260m which costs them £15.3m a year to manage. their turnover increased to £200m due to a bigger attendance at the emirates, but this was helped by £23m coming in from the sale of flats on the old highbury site; this money will dry up and therefore is not a sustainable income. their serviceable debt will be paid up in 2030 (a mortgage to you and me) our debt is not serviceable, but owed to one man. and our turnover actually increased. thats you me and TV revenue money; money from the customer; the same people that he refuses to communicate with. his spin doctors are going to do their best to paint MA as the good guy and a wonderful man doing so much good for the club and being hounded by those who dont "understand". well, we do undertstand Mr Ashley; we understand only too well that you have mismanaged this whole club since appointing Wise and LLambias. Yeou refuse to borrow and have done very succesfully in your other business dealings, but in doing so with NUFC you have lined the pockets of Barclays to the tune of approx £60m when you paid off the mortgage instead of re mortgaging the ground. dont blame the credit crunch because this was at least 12 months before the phrase credit crunch was even heard mentioned. that £60M could have been used on playing staff, bringing in players that would have increased gthe quality of football on the pitch and subsequently increasing gate revenue, kit sales and general merchandising, tv money and untimately making the club attractive to a buyer should you have wished to sell. you chose the other route; ignnorance of your customer base, contempt for your playing staff management team and ultimately open warfare between you and the fans; well done. now apply for your business man of the year award i wonderI f we have lost anything to Icelandic banks as well. One of them certainly has a corporate box at SJP.
