As much as I'd like to see him leave it is the News of the World.

I've been given a copy of The Eye and I don't know whether to watch it or not. Just sounds like a fairly average thriller/horror. Anyone seen it?

I'm glad we got a draw but that was the worst performance I've ever seen by Newcastle. There's absolutely no creativity from midfield and its shown again that Shola is hopeless. I think we'll still go down. No-one, except possibly S Taylor and Carrol, looks like they really care.

We really are shite. Where was Shola for their goal? He was marking Faye then just left him for a free header.

Even though it happened before I was born, just watching Football Focus there really hit me emotionally. And the fact that not one person was prosecuted for it either.

Was just about to go to bed and I got a text off my dad. Did think it was an early Aprils Fools at first like. Hopefully having Shearer there could give the players a boost, and as said, Shearer has nothing to lose.

I was going to go tonight and use my season ticket to get in free, but I couldn't find anyone to go with. Quite enjoy going to the reserve games and they're doing much better than the first team right now.

Just remembered a few others. My dad played football against Chris Waddle years ago when he played for Jarrow school team. And he was in the same year at school as Steve Cram.

I've stood behind Kim Milton Nielsen (the ref who sent Beckham off in the 98 WC), in the queue for the Peter Pan ride at Euro Disney. And me and my mate seen Jose Enrique outside HMV in the Metro Centre. He was on his way to Debenhams I think. The same mate has seen Geoff Hurst and Terry Venables at different airports aswell
