  1. Most importantly, who have they lost the rights to? itv
  2. just heard a rumour that tomorrow will be kinnears last game in charge and his final weeks pay will be payed up and alan shearer and his backroom staff will take their place. the reason shearer is ready to step in is because BBC have lost the highlights for next season so that means no MOTD. part of the rumour is that the new owners what shearer in place before they complete the takeover
  3. Liverpool home is the only home game I've missed. Newcastle, Fulham, Chelsea and Portsmouth away. you enjoy the newcastle game ? a was there like, shite eh ? well obv not for use cos use won... that was the nite of the gasgoine is dead rumours ha
  4. danny how many spurs games have you been to this season ? like home and away..
  5. i know everyone is playing down Saturday but i just have a feeling there is going to be some kind of announcement, even if its to say we've not been sold, i just think there will be something.
  6. jesus, yeah euro trips sound good tbh, i imagine some time in my life i'll experience one
  7. has anyone ever went through the course of a season going home and away and not missing a game ? stuff of dreams tbh, would love it ! ......
  8. I really do hope they give him a chance.. imagine the atmosphere at his first game
  9. i find you being on a newcastle fans forum baffling
  10. I'm still reeling from realising. Forty fuckin years. The family spongebob are in for a right boring time over the dinnertable tonight. I shall be regailing with tales of valour and misery all night long Peanuts hoyed out to you The supporters club opposite the Strawberry The 5 minute flag Floodlight pylons Saint James Wrestling Hall Football league supplement in programme Walls for bogs The Magpie club Lord Westwood Spike rawlings guesting at testimonials Trees by the Popular Jinky breaking that kids leg Supa Mac's goal versus Leicester Gordon Marshall swinging around the post and the ball going in Writing your name on the bog rolls Playing with the grit Come on you old bastard a few more obscure memeories, not just the famous ones Mental celebrations where you ended up 50 yards from where you were less than 20 seconds ago Bogrolls chucked on to the pitch when the teams ran out Sitting on barriers Keepers running up to the Gallowgate at the start of the game everyone clapping the keeper would clap back, and the whole would go AAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHH giving him wanker signs Sit down protests, when we were shite, everyone would go "sit down sit down sit down" to the tune of play up Pompey, fuck knows what that was going to achieve Norman in the corner on the barrier starting the songs so pissed every time he tried an Ossie Ardiles black n white army, it came out as Oheeee Aree ehh Aniiii aaeey Abusing police (every game) How man hey mans in the Gallowgate Keegans hotdogs with onions outside the Strawberry Sambrero's in the Gallowgate when Mirandinha signed and hats with 3/4 toon, 1/4 brazil, rangers or celtic on. Toon fans enthusiastically cheering Stimson getting sent off Paying 2 quid to get in and thinking it was expensive Having literally hundreds of jock toon fans when we had a big game, honestly we had loads When it was warm in August and the ground was full, like it was against Tottenham, genuinely they were the very very best of times, going to the match everyone expectant, you couldn't beat it. The average Newcastle fan then was fuckin brilliant, the best with no equal, Alan Hansen said as much in his autobiography, every fucka said it, even opposition fans respected us. The average Newcastle fan now is a cynical humourless boring cunt. obv i didn't have any part in them days as I'm younger, but I was asking my dad and he says footballs nothing now-a-days compared to back then
  11. still doubting whether this will mean anything as look at the other two 'deadlines', we've had extensions both times. i really do hope we are either told we've been sold, or that there has been no interest, because then at least we will know where we stand. tbh though i really can't see saturday being of any significance and i think its just more shite that kinnear has been told to tell us, and i do believe that we aren't gonna be sold and ashley will stay, along with kinnear and wise
  12. just i need a lift down to newcastle that morning as theres no trains...
  13. says in today's sunday mirror that ashley is understood to be in talks with a north-east businessman with the view of him becoming chairman, and with alan shearer becoming manager if the structure is right for him.
  14. Considering I'm only nearly 16, my all time low of supporting Newcastle has to be either : 1. This seasons derby defeat to Sunderland, as it was my first real away game and I went myself, and I was totally gutted or 2. When we got beat in the semi-final of the FA Cup, after all the time and effort spent getting there, then we get beat 4-1..
  15. does the result have a major effect on the rest of your weekend?
  16. no thanks bruce, thank fuck you turned us down..
