Just a little bump in preparation for next Sunday tea-time. I changed it to 12th a few posts later monger. I've got 12th on NO as well. I was bumping the thread, not your post. It just happens that your post was the first post in the thread....... That said.....

Dont be silly man, it was one of the best bits of business in years. Even you know who said so.
-
And most importantly...wait for it...he wanted to leave us because we were always playing him at LB! Why would he ever come back here to play LB for us again? It boggles the mind what these morons will come up with. It's fair enough wanting to be optimistic about our club, God knows we could use some optimism (you know, like the optimistic feeling most of us on here had around November before we sacked our best manager in 6-7 years and sold our best striker without replacing him) but fuck me, you've got to have absolutely no sense of pattern recognition not to see what's going on here. See you on September 2nd. Watch your mouth you little bitch. You're a moron who thinks FM is reality, your posts are cringeworthy, and you're an embarrassment. Up to this point, I've not joined in with the group of people who always have a go at you for your idiotic predictions and constant berating of people who are 'overly pessimistic' (i.e. they live in the real world whereas you live in cloud cuckoo land) because I felt sorry for you, but your increasing arrogance (as though there's anything to be arrogant about when you're predicting we'll sign or even go after Huntelaar, Derdiyok and van der Wiel) is really not attractive or endearing. Get a life, Its the Internet ffs

I think that the club will actually be close to that target, but only if the Carroll money goes into club debt payments. By close though it's still a few million here or there.. Just had a quick nose about and it was Simon Bird in The Mirror that said......

Didnt I read somewhere else that we are now forecasting breaking even this year end?

Good film critic though

I would also add that our recent history (20 years or so) is scattered with players who have not been trophy players or have been relatively unknown from Europe or lower teams that have done well. (And yes that is one of my blanket statements that Im sure is probably correct).
-
How much is a decent, Premier league ready, striker? You're in cloud cuckoo land if you think Ashley's going to go out and buy 2. ...or are you just doing the old dad joke when Top Gear are reviewing a sports car worth quarter of a million..."I'll have 2!" Thats like saying how much is a decent premier league ready defensive midfielder.......Tiote? And yes every signing is not going to be a Tiote but your assumption is that only vast amounts of spondoolas will sort the problem. There is no reason at all why we cant bring in excellent europeans for more sensible money. The club have basically said thats where they are looking so thats probably what we are going to get.

Why would the negative side cling to their negativity if we bring in 3 0r 4 first team decent additions. Thats just silly. I would hope your side would be big enough to say no more maoning, we're looking good. Define 3 or 4 decent first team additions. If we bring in 3 or 4 proven Premiership quality players and dont lose the likes of Enrique, Tiote, Barton, Colo then yes I'll be saying that we're looking better. We all (except you and TN) know that in reality we're more likely to bring in 3 unproven players from the Championship or below/ small scale Europeans and lose any 2 from the above list. That wont be progress however you see Enrique as on the "wain" and N'Zog as being an excellent replacement at LB so its more than likely you'll find some reason to celebrate that scenario. Tiote or Bern Arfa were not proven prem players.. By 3 or 4 first team additions Im talking about players with a decent track record who will start the first game of the season. Not has beens. For clarity, Carton Cole wouldnt be classed as a good addition.

Shola was shite yesterday and as usual spent most of his time on his arse.

Ironing board spotted on Mars.
-
In what way? Are you saying you would rather keep him?
-
Personally I hope there is some way to finally get rid of him this summer. Not sure how his contract stands but with incomings expected he will be surplus to requirements. Dont even want him there as cover.
-
Out since November with a broken leg! Last week was his first week back in full training! Did what was required.

Shane Ferguson tearing apart international opposition
Christmas Tree replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Another good performance from young Shane yesterday. Didnt look out of place and looked after the ball well under pressure. At one point he tackled one of their defenders who was in a heap on the floor. The camera then zoomed in on Shane looking about 9 The defender must have also glimpsed who had brought him down as he seemed to suddenly leap up pretty damn quickly no doubt full of shame at being floored by Mr Muscles son. -
Still preferable to team miserable old sniping fucker

Ashley insurance job?

One more for team Good

Yup, our new strikers will love those crosses raining in next season.
-
You must have missed the bit where he left the Chelsea player for dead and crossed for the header that led to the corner that led to the goal.
