  1. Onion Bhajis went wrong Curry not looking much better Hungry wifes face Takeaway on standby
  2. Home made Baked Bhajis, followed by Barneys curry.
  3. How do you make your fried rice?
  4. To a degree your mate is quite right, but the dedication required would consume his life and would he really want to sacrifice that, simply to be a record holder in a minority sport?
  5. Can I? So I pedal really fast for a minute, then pedal really slow for a minute.
  6. £35 snots, Ebay Thats right, all the gear, no idea
  7. Mid Life crisis, Gay or lost his job.
  8. They were thin as hell when they went in believe it or not.
  9. Well this is what the first two turned out like. Maybe not as round or visually pleasing, but bloody delicious. I also read a tip somewhere, might have been on here, about pasting the pizza with olive oil when it first goes in to stop any possibility of a damp or squidgy base off the toppings. Having a jar of garlic olive oil in the cupboard, I used that instead and the base did indeed stay proper and also had a lovely garlic taste to it. A very happy tree household (part from egg girl).
  10. I,ll probably have my onion Bhaji starter and then just have the curry with a nan bread. Our lass will probably want rice. With regard to the cayenne pepper, how hot will that half a teaspoon make it? Im not keen on hot curries. dont mind a tad of spice so dont want to leave it out if its not too bad. Not very hot at all. I made it with about 1/4tsp and gave it to my 2year old. Put a bit less in initially and taste it a few minutes later once it's had time to get right through the dish. Add a bit more later if you like. As I said, it's full of flavour so it can do without that heat if you aren't a fan. Unfortunately the home made pizzas took over.....Curry tomorrow.
  11. Oops She salvaged what she could. Anyway, eating mine now and its absolutely bloody gorgeous. Definitely a regular in our house from now on. Nice one
  12. First one looked good after a further 6 mins so thats about 11 all told. The middle daughters just done the egg thing however it aint looking great 6 minutes later. could have a cooked egg and black pizza.
  13. For how long??????? 12 minutes or 7 minutes after the initial 5........Burning smell coming from CT's kitchen .
  14. My other query looking at this, is it getting cooked twice. IE so long with the cake circle on and then that taken off and backing in with the ingredients on. Also what are people smothering the base with, is it just tomato puree? No, you eat the inside of the cake tin. Theres always one
  15. Cheers I'll have a look. Does needing not take the air out?

  17. Going to have a bash at making some of the kids a pizza tonight so Ive just been re-reading the various recipes. Your and Ants look about the same, however he adds sugar and you dont and I think you add more salt than him????? The main question is that And refers to knocking back and you say you dont do it. Now as much as I'd love this to mean having a few sherries while cooking, I assume its something different. Can someone explain?

  19. Our Prime Minister........... Has just given the leader of the opposition a good kicking at PMQ's
  20. 3 on the left and only rarely 1 or 2 on the right - just use 3-6 (Unless your're going over the hill from West Boldon to Mackem land). I'll give that a try.
  21. Went for the first ride today and all was going well until I got about 1/2 mile from home (at the bottom of an incline) and decided to play with the gears, (3 settings on one grip and 6 settings on the other, giving a choice of about 18 gears). Ended up getting into this gear that had my legs flying round like Billy Whizz and the bike only just moving. Various people were walking towards me and I didnt want to risk knocking it into a really heavy gear, so continued to pedal home like some sort of knacker on speed. Well unless you're off road you should never need to change the front gear of 3 to anything less than the biggest ring. Not really sure what that means, especially considering my last bike was a grifter!!! Eg, should it be 1 on the left and 1 on the right or 2 on the left etc edit : Not saying I wont work it out on my own, but if theres a set setting as you suggest then Im all ears.
