I thought Enrique was poor for a lot of the game both in defence and attack. He made one fantastic run and one canny run but for most of the game I thought he was almost playing like he was in a sulk. Ranger does shake things up but eventually that has to lead to goals. Seems a very long way off a premier player for me.

This. Enrique was shite apart from two decent runs. Jonas was a disgrace and shouldnt wear the shirt again. As usual a shite display without Barton. (only found out minutes before kick off and not sure why he was missing). Ranger again comes on and runs around like a fanny without really any end product. Singing corner singing "Theirs only one Ryan Taylor as he's sent off". Praise be to Best who put in a good shift and won some great balls in the air. 2 points chucked away tbf. Dont think Enrique was shit like, probably our most threatening player. Jonas was wank. We always seem to miss Barton...hope he's not out for too long. I dont see what anyone sees in ranger...he is NOT a footballer. Best looked lively but really doesnt "have it" does he? FAO: Dr Gloom...If that was a hissy fit then you must be a well sensitive little bunny ay? No I dont think he does, but credit to the lad he did win some very good headers and placed them into dangerous situations that on another day, could have lead to goals.

Truly unbelievable I thought.

"I would make the club solvent, I would make it a going concern". Surely the above implies that bankrolling was short term to achieve the above? -

Your Fav NUFC goal of the season so far?
Christmas Tree replied to paulwynuk42NUFC's topic in Newcastle Forum
Had I been there or watching on the TV then Tiote might get it. However my favourite is Nolans first and our first against Sunderland, the over head kick. (was that the pile on?). The Derby is always the most gut wrenching game of the season for me so to get that first goal and the relief that brings was immense. -
Dead easy. I was looking at this Baked version recipe here. http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/16164/baked-onion-bhajis.aspx And this Jamie oliver deep fried version here http://www.jamieoliver.com/foodwise/article-view.php?id=1683 In excitement, I ended using the fried recipe, then baked them :( Also worth noting that besan flour is best, but I just used plain. Heres what I did. Ingredients SERVES 2 (makes 5 or 6) 1 medium onion, halved and sliced 100g plain flour 1 tsp baking powder 2 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground turmeric pinch of salt Method Mix the flour, spices and salt in a bowl. Gradually mix in enough water to make a quite thick, sticky batter. Add the onions and mix well. Get your hands in and make 5 or 6 mini snowballs and place on a baking tray. Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 20-25 minutes, drizzle a little oil on top of the bhajis and bake for an additional 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot, enjoy! I then googled this sauce recipe to serve with them and made as instructed (we had no mint). Very nice.

So excited I might not sleep! For those considering going as and when next year, it does have its benefits.

Here's a side salad for curry night you might like. Ingredients-Cucumber, Red Onion, Natural Yoghurt, Mjnt ( fresh if you've got it). 1.chop the mint and mix it with the yoghurt, you want about 2-3 tablespoons of yoghurt. 2. Peel the cucumber and slice it into 5mm ish rounds. 3. Lay the slices out on kitchen roll and pat them dry. You want them as dry as possible. 4.slice the red onion as finely as you can. You want either quarter rings or diced. 5. Mix the onion and cucumber, add a sprinkle of salt to taste. 6. Knock back the yoghurt with water or milk to a loose coating consistency 7. Just before serving, add the yoghurt to the salad and coat well On the to do list along with this recipe for something called Bombay Aloo http://www.curryfrenzy.com/curry/recipes/Bombay-Aloo.html
