That's the thing. My god have fans seen some momentous games this season, regardless of off field antics. Pre-Christmas I was certainly leaning in favour of getting a season ticket for next year, however the sale of AC has dented my confidence that we will continue the upwards march. Carroll on his own hasn't stopped me, but the talk of a Tiote led exodus has made me less sure. Without doubt I will be waiting til the window closes before making a decision. fickle bastard. What would you do if he was bought out by someone you liked ? I don't even know what that means???? Whoever owns Newcastle should be running the club with it's interests, not their own, at heart. Ie. Backing the manager to improve the standard of players AND taking sound financial decisions that allow the first point to continue. And no, I won't be having one of your tiresome debates.

The only thing I saw related to that fat fuck yesterday was the tearing down of Sports Direct hoardings in the gallowgate and the only thing I heard related to him was "get out of our club" so I'd say that the mood of the people doesn't quite match your Ashley optimism yet. 'twas a joke mate

Wow, thats the second half watched. Gutted at the end we didnt win. Like the way after the second pen had gone in, the keeper kicks the ball upfield as Joey and Nolan bear down on him for a second time Also think Danny Simpson is not getting enough praise. Starting to look a very good right back both defending and attacking and for me is outshining Enrique at the moment. Felt the tears welling up watching the fans celebrate at 4-4 and full time. Finally, can we all now start getting behind Ashley and singing a few Ashley wonderland songs. If he feels the love from the terraces and can enjoy a few pints round the big market, he might, might, just not flog Tiote, Enrique and Barton in the summer.

So, finally just managed to see the first half. Barton is a Geordie God and we should just give this guy the Player of the season award and get it over and done with. As heads all around him, surprisingly Nolan, were dropping, Barton was chasing everything. His spirit was summed up on 36 minutes, 4-0 down and Arshavin knocks the ball out for a goal kick to us. Barton chases after it to retrieve it. Tiote did well, so too Simpson and even though he heads the ball like a new born and doesnt yet understand the offside rule, I though Best showed some glimpses......Just glimpses mind. Enrique a shocker and Jonas his usual ineffective game so far. Lovenkrands, forgot he was playing til he popped up near the end of the half. Commentators final words on the first half....."This games as good as over".......Licks lips.

Just woke up and still haven't seen the game. Praying the full match has now downloaded. Still grinning and still bemused how your feelings for nufc can go from zero to hero in 24 hours. Only ever at Newcastle.

Only at Newcastle could you have a season like this. Eventful doesnt do it justice. Already this seasons there's being a heap of shit and some spectacular games and results that will live long on the memory.

Apparently it's the first time in premiership history that a team that was 4-0 at the break has ever came back and got a point out of the game.

Happy days. Looking forward to the boys who were there, telling us about that atmosphere. Hope none of them left early. Team spirit is alive and well at NE1. They'll be high as kites. I love Barton.
