Don't even try that shit tonight. Fuck off you soft lad I think most fans can start to see some of Pardews influence coming through and thats nothing against Chris, just a fact. Go ahead then, how have you seen Pardew's influence? For one, I don't think Hughton would've put Ferguson on. Correct, only a tactical genius would have put a young, promising player on when the match is already well won. Thats very true actually.

Go ahead then, how have you seen Pardew's influence? I think in the last few games we are starting to see a variety of new free kicks being used such as Colochins off the bar and the one to lovenkrands for the goal tonight. I also think he has got Tiote playing safer in our half. He definitely seems to have the team closing down players better and holding posession a lot better. He seems to be getting through to Jonas (however I'll concede that could be the Ben Arfa signing) I also dont think you would have seen Hughton starting with Best or using Ferguson. Hughton would have put nolan up with Lovenkrands, Barton into the middle and Routledge on the wing. I think he's showing some balls, especially considering these were two must win games. I think in general he uses substitutions (and their timings) very well. Just my opinion.

I still think he's too lightweight and thought today he put too much distance between himself and Jose. His composure seemed quite good and age will help him bulk up, so maybe in a few seasons he'll come good. I would definitely look to loan him out to get game time. He'll go nowhere whilst theres no other cover for Jonas, who tbf I though played well tonight.

To be fair in most of his sub appearances this season, he's done alright, just hasn't got the goals when chances have come his way. Maybe he got too excited, I don't know, but that miss has put a slight downer on my night. He won't get an easier chance and a goal then would have helped him push on and impose himself in the squad. I reckon it's one of those chances that he'd tuck away 9 times out of 10. Based on what? He clearly lacks the composure required for 1st team football in the Prem at the moment, a loan spell in the Champ getting regular starts would do him good. He needs to sort out his attitude. Thats the correct decision for him, especially now that we have Besty.
