Just get Keegan back -
Not a Thai fan or peanut really. Promised myself I’d try an all day breakfast one on Sunday.

This waiting is truly unbearable. It is bin day in Boldon today. An omen perhaps? -
hoisin base sauce, duck, spring onions and a bit of cheese.

would have made a nice side for my tea

As I’ve said, I hope you are right. I really do. The news person who was commenting on Wittys evidence was basically saying something like...... We couldn’t cope with vaccinating 65 million people every year, so it would only go to those at gravest risk, which would mean the level of infection would remain high for years to come. This would mean either severe restrictions would have to remain (not lockdown) or the NHS would be continually overwhelmed.
-
Pub nights are long gone. The vaccine thing comparing the measles type to flu was something I heard from a report of Wittys evidence to the select committee a couple of days ago. As you know I’m an extreme optimist but I’ve had a couple of down days after hearing all this. I hope you’re right.
-
That have to be taken every year, unlike the measles vaccine.
-
What worries me is that from bits I’ve read and heard, this is going to be with us for good. It’s not like measles where we will eventually develop a vaccine but more like a flu virus that will just travel around the world every year. If we are very very lucky, we might develop a flu type vaccine that those most at risk can take every year. If that’s right then how can we ever go back to pubs, concerts, mass travel etc. Surely everything has now changed for the worse, for good?

Just spent the last hour trawling through the Internet for the “perfect” settings for my 6 year old TV, then applying them. This is only one part of a multiple page settings guide.

Had no cards but...... Anyone who has a patch of grass and a couple of edging stones can introduce the younger generation to curby. 1 point for a rebound 2 for catching the rebound 3 for a one handed catch Obviously even easier if you are lucky enough to have proper Kerbs outside your house.

Exactly how I feel Spent the last few weeks refusing to entertain the idea that “this time”, it might actually be true. Still expecting some incompetence on our side or “twitter outrage” to scupper it. Its like when you start to think about the infinity of the universe and your brain suddenly stops functioning Having lived through the Keegan years I consider myself fairly lucky, but what this will do for the kids and the feel good factor for the everyone connected to a Newcastle supporter is quite tremendous. -
Cheers, I did wonder if there was too much topping tbh but surprisingly it was very nice.
-
No, other than putting a plate down and cutting around it as you do with pastry but then it would have been too small. Kids reckoned I should throw and stretch it but we all know how that would have panned out
-
Luckily it did. Ants pizza recipe, Alex’s tomato base and a superb youtube bolognese.
-
Also cooking related, had my first egg from my chickens yesterday (one on the left). Hope they get bigger
-
that was the fourth attempt and roundest shape. Should have seen the other three
-
Not sure how you make them round but this was magnificent
-
To catch a killer. Played the part very well. Always had a soft spot for him. RIP.

Decent first outing as leader on Marr but....
