  1. I’ve been leaving fruit and veg (and post ) for 24 hours before putting away as I’d heard that it can’t live for 24 hours. As for disposable gloves, euro car parts had some 2 days ago. Pack of 100 about £6.00
  2. Cheers. Self isolating for 12 weeks (At least) due to wife’s Asthma. Daughters fine (single) and just qualified as a teacher so ready to marry off ? New hobby: Chicken keeping (Mainly for the 9 year old to have some activity / routine / fun during the next several months. Making Bread and trying to watch a comedy every night. Trying too avoid too much news, twitter etc and just full of admiration for the people fighting this on the frontline. Hope everyone on here stays safe and try’s to keep their pecker up as best they can. Fat little cunt out
  3. Classy, I’m not sure the virus cares which way an oap voted.

  5. Tip: Buy chickens. 4 for £20 at most places, canny pets for the kids during lockdown and fresh eggs every morning.
  6. it’s about delaying / flattening the peak so the NHS can cope better with the seriously ill during late spring / summer. I’m not sure what people don’t understand about this? If we all bunkered down for a few months now, then we would be delaying the peak to winter when all the other winter viruses are at their peak.
  7. More succinctly put from The Times.
  8. I think you are doing exactly the right thing with your boy as those with Asthma could be hit very hard by this. (Wife has it). Before the rush starts, maybe worth you spending £50 on a nebuliser from Argos. They are not life savers as such, but they may help him get the medcine into his lungs better if he’s hit with the virus. The plastic spacers are good under normal circumstances but if he’s feverish and unwell, the machine works better. As for the overall way this is being tackled I pretty much agree with the scientists. This isn’t going to go away until we have either all had or a vaccine is developed. Locking down the country too soon is just delaying the big hit. What we need is to let it keep going at some level so that the peak is as flat as possible, giving more seriously ill people, more chance of quality care. Good luck to you all
  9. Manchester Tart, just cherry’s
  10. Not really, just use a different weapon
  11. Whole different league now with my Ninja and Mixer.
  12. It’s a very tough choice. Jess Phillips would batter Boris week in, week out but has other issues. None of the “runners” are great prospects. They should really try and get the SAS guy to run (Dan Jarvis) but not sure the hard left membership are going to let any else through other than RLB. I think they are looking realistically at 10 years before they have a chance as so many things are against them. Left v centrist tug of war Northerners having lost their cherry to Tories Wiped out in Scotland Boundary changes that will now happen. The unknown is whether Brexit leads to ruin, is bumpy or actually improves things. Maybe a Boris batterer for now and Bridget or Jarvis in 5 years? The truth is we are in for a period of very “strong and stable” government with that majority and parliament will just be a rubber stamping exercise as it was in the early 2000’s.
  13. Bridget on air now “we have become the nasty party”.
