  1. Conveniently missing out the headlines of punishment budget or recession just for voting to leave I was very clear at the time of the vote that there may be “choppy waters” ahead but that the end result would be worth it. So far we have had continued record employment and continued growth. (Regardless of the remoaners endless efforts to talk the country down).
  2. Those wonderful remoaners are trying to implement a position where Parliament takes over the process if a deal is not reached by a certain date. All the EU now has to do is refuse to negotiate, wait til the last minute and get us to accept whatever scraps they want. As I said, Zombie Brexit. Well played remoaners.
  3. Nowt wrong with that. Just pointing out in his non political style, what N Korea could achieve if they come in from the cold. Sad thing is (and you all know it), you would be having a wankfest if Obama had pulled this off. Its alright for Jeremy to meet with various terrorists to “play his part”, yeah right, in the peace process but not Donald. Hypocrites, the lot of you.
  4. Heading for a zombie Brexit thanks to Remoaners. Hope they enjoy it.
  5. Considering it was discussed during his campaign I think they might of.
  6. He thinks he can improve the US’s trade deals.
  7. Of course it could all fall apart. Trump said as much himself, but “being on the world stage” matters very little. In the past N Korea has received Billions off Clinton for nothing in return. Rocket man knows full well that he’s getting no wedge off Trump unless things progress in the right manner. If he doesn’t keep to the path of peace then he knows sanctions won’t be lifted etc. I think too many Trump haters are clinging to this “world stage win” for Kim. There’s no benefit imo for him backtracking, just more misery.
  8. Not continuing with war games is totally different to the imminent withdrawal of 30k troops
  9. I expect better than fake news from you of all people. Trump said he wanted to reach a point when there was no need for troops in South Korea anymore and they could come home. Pretty obvious end result from a peace process
  10. The fucking state of you lot Trump isn’t scaling back the military presence, he’s cancelling any future war games in the area. How stupid it would be to play war games now that they’re moving forward down a peace process. Have a word with yourselves
  11. Sorry, it wasn’t directed at you I thought Renton etc could contain themselves but alas no. I thought prefacing my remarks with not liking the man or that he’s bad for the U.K. would save the Trump fan routine but alas no Im sure you see better than most the domestic situation, however with regard to China, NAFTA, EU trade, Iran and N Korea, it appears that he is addressing a lot of issues that previous presidents have avoided. Obviously time will tell how they play out.
  12. Not sure if it’s possible to debate Trump without all the usual Toontastic hysteria, but has it? He seems to be charging full steam ahead in all the promises he made during his election. He’s not playing the established political niceties game, but seems to be bullying the world to adhere to what he believes are in America’s interests. Iran, Climate, N.Korea, trade, China, NAFTA, etc Are the EU etc really going to hit back as hard as he’s hit them or will they meekly succumb. I don’t like the man at all but I think he’s ploughing through his agenda like a businessman rather than tip toeing around like a normal politician. Obviously it’s shit for the rest of us but so far he is taking the game to everyone without much response.
  13. Yes, we are not going to stop exporting or importing.
  14. Of course it’s project fear. Economists can’t even get predictions right from year to year never mind over 15 years ffs. As for tangible benefits You say this all the time and get a response all the time then forget! Free to make our own trade deals. Not sending huge sums to Brussels The sovereignty to make our own rules / regulations as fits the country. Control of immigration that suits our needs. Now sure you can reel off various arguments against these but the bottom line is that you have no idea what the world will look like in 10 or 20 years time, particularly with the introduction of AI. I would much prefer our government of the day to have the flexibility to manage whatever the world throws at us.
  15. Next you will be telling me that every Labour government leaving office with higher unemployment than when they started is untrue too
  16. But we were told there would be a recession just for voting to leave....... As Ive said from day one, at first it may be bumpy, but that doesn't translate to your kids life being fucked. Boom and Bust was common place during the 80's and 90's and then we had Labours crash. At different times we've been in recession and millions on the dole and then in work again. That's the economic cycle. Lots of shit has gone on in the last 40 years but people get on with the circumstances of the day. As it happens I think its fairly guaranteed that a deal will be done and we'll continue to trade pretty much as normal with Europe. So tell me again, how will your kids lives be fucked? I mean seriously, if you have a real sensible view that your kids lives will be fucked and you can explain it then I'll listen, but this Rentonesque skys gonna fall in routine is beneath you. Much bigger danger to your kids lives would be McDonnel in number 11.
  17. Economy is growing Record Employment Wages rising Next....
  18. Feel free to back that up with how your kids lives are going to be fucked due to Brexit.
  19. See this is where the remainer side goes full drama. The next generation is not fucked over. We have just about seen off Austerity, have record employment and are still going to be able to buy Prosecco and BMW’s and holiday in Europe. The fact that GDP might be at 1.9 instead of 2.2 is neither here or there to the average person living their life. The idea that your kids life is going to be fucked compared to yours because of Brexit is absurd.
  20. No apparently Barnier didn’t quite understand what we were offering. He has since tweeted his correction.
