  1. So how come he gets so much abuse on here
  2. Bit strange that this has been leaked and still no official statement from the club
  3. I mean fuck all that. The football has been mind numbingly boring to watch, we’ve scraped through a fair few games by the skin of our teeth against lesser teams and he has nowhere near got the best out of the talent available to him. A better manager could have romped home with that squad, playing good football.
  4. Aye, far too restrictive and boring. Tonights tea was Lemon chicken, garlic crushed new potatoes and sugar snap peas. Deeeeelicious
  5. Sorry trots, I’m not having this! Fully reformed, calorie counting, seed chewing (finally @Dr Gloom ) health freak these days. 10,000-15,000 steps at least every day My body’s a temple!
  6. Not one bit. Just me having a panic / bed wet. Im gutted. Thought they both decent to have as figureheads for the club. Like others have said, can only imagine they need the dosh.
  7. Hope it’s not that PIF are pissed off not being able to spend and are selling up
  8. Grilled wrap (chicken, chorizo and sun blushed tomatoes) with a rocket side salad , gently moistened with a balsamic glaze.
  9. Not a restaurant and not in Newcastle, but Yarm is a fantastic old town to have a mozey round. Lovely walk along the river and then lunch in a very nice Italian Delhi called the mocking bird. The old high street is full of bistros, cafes and restaurants, most with outside seating. Lovely place Eddie.
  10. WOW! Just watched Kiers first presser and we have our own Jed Bartlett. What a Prime Minister this bloke is going to be. Absolutely dripping with honesty, home truths and a very genuine drive to sort the UK out. Not seen anyone this good in politics before except for TV drama. So impressed
  11. Hope your all watching Farages presser Heckler after heckler being evicted as he tries to speak.
  12. Morning all, first time I’ve taken much notice of politics for a few years. First of all, Bridget was very impressive last night and more so on breakfast TV this morning. Secondly I watched the Gary Neville and Kier Starmer interview last night and was very impressed by him as a person. Personally I think he will grow into the role very well and will be very good. It seems that he has a lot of stuff ready to go from day 1. Reform / Farage are definitely a threat not just to Labour but moreover to the country as a whole, particularly with the way politics is heading over the Atlantic and over the channel. Whats needed is a nice boring 5 years with good progress on what’s achievable.
  13. Post brought to you by Blue Moon productions!
  14. I stayed in the Park lane hotel (work paid) everyone dresses in black like the matrix and jelly beans in the fridge were around £10 a small packet (2002) Much prefer a traveled when we travel the country. £45 to rest your head, in and out and on with your journey. Last year we went from Chester, Snowdonia, Cardiff, Newquay and so on. Apart from snowdonia, all travelogues for under £50. Great way to tour the UK.
  15. My seagull story I was leaving Morrisons during the recent hot spell and had my drivers window open about 10 cms. A seagull managed to shit whilst flying at some weird angle and it landed on my thigh. No shit whatsoever anywhere else on the outside of the car. Precision bombing indeed.
  16. That's like something I would do, buy an electric bike to get fit
  17. All I would say about Seaham is that you get quite a few (slappers is not the right word but it will do) of a certain type who can’t afford to stay but sometimes overrun the spa on a weekend. Also, the field next to it holds the largest car boot fair in the North East every Sunday
  18. Changed man. Finally took glooms advice after 16 years. All chia seeds, wholemeal and lots of protein and fibre. 10,000 steps before lunch.
  19. Matfen Hall is the clear winner 👍🏻 https://matfenhall.com dinner and breakfast are superb, lovely Spa and pool and even go ape in the grounds should you not already have worn yourselves out.
