  1. I'll tell you what it means to be rich when I scoop the 64M Euro Millions jackpot on Friday. *crosses fingers*
  2. A levels are between the ages of 16-18. So the 12th and 13th year of school. They are either done at high school, or at some sort of college or 6th form college.
  3. Hehehehe...I sat two of my AS Psychology Modules three times, so I bloody love the system we have in place now :> (Although I won't know what I actually got until Thursday!)

Has there been any decent amount of information released about FM yet for you to claim this is better than it? o.O I still hate the way the game looks tbh.
  5. When I put up that I wanted GT5 to be on XBOX as my FB status (yes, I'm that sad) I was informed by a friend in the industry that Forza 3 would be just as good to play. Seems that people here enjoyed FOrza 2, so I will be definitely looking to get the new one!
  6. Claridge is beyond terrible.
  7. Aye, starting to think that. Mainly because I don't want to waste the petrol on getting there!
  8. "Laughing humans interrupt Squirrels Holiday Snap"
  9. Also noticed Xisco made a late appearance today. Did he have much of an impact?
  10. Anyone got a link to the goals? Will watch it on Iplayer tomorrow sometime if not.
  11. Am I in time to catch this on the Football league show or have we already been on?

  13. Absolutely rapturous round of "One Bobby Robson" at Ewood Park. Brilliant stuff
  14. Can't wait to see how Man City do tbh
  15. Amazingly jealous for any PS3 owners, because this years Gran Turismo looks bloody awesome. When is an XBOX game developer going to realise that this is the sort of quality racing game that the XBOX is lacking? And on that note, what decent racing games are there out there for the 360?
  16. Have to write to them saying I will be cancelling, but they are claiming that I have to pay for September because I haven't given the months notice. I'm just going to cancel the direct debit now, and let it be known that because I did not sign my contract to give permission for them to remove the direct debit from my account, I am exercising my right as owner of my bank account to stop them from taking the funds. Or something along those lines, anyway.
  17. On the phone to them now. They don't quite believe I never signed a contract >_>
  18. Yeah - I think I have the first copy of the contract. It was done on copy paper, and at the bottom of mine it says '1st Copy - Customer, 2nd Copy - Gym, 3rd Copy - Head Office', so I assume all three contracts are exactly the same.
  19. Right now I am a member of my local gym, who charge me £25 a month to use the facilities. That has been fine, but recently I have been going less and have in fact found another local gym where a friend goes which is at a cheaper price. When I last rang to try and cancel my membership, I was told that because I haven't been a member for 12 months I can't do it. I said that when I signed up I was told that I could cancel whenever I liked, and she said that you can do that on the 'Junior' membership but if you sign up on that, as soon as you turn 18 you are instantly put onto 'Adult' membership. Now what was odd about that is that I joined the gym when I was 18, was ticked as being on the 'Junior' membership (I have my copy of the 'contract'), and I am pretty sure I was told I could cancel whenever I like. She said that this didn't matter, and again reiterated that I was in a 12 month contract. Now here is where the story takes an interesting twist. Upon looking at the 'contract' I have with the gym I noticed I haven't signed a single bit of it. Where it says "I, _______[sign name here] agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined overleaf" is blank, and as is the direct debit form at the bottom with the "I ______________ give permission for TOtal Fitness Ltd. to debit my account £25 per month" is similarly lacking of my signature. Does that mean I thus have every right to cancel my direct debit and then ring them up to cancel my membership? Also, in terms of a court of law, is there anything they can say about "well, we have records of you using the facilities so that means you must have accepted our contract"? I think that if I was cheeky enough I could claim all the money I have paid them back, but I'm really not sure. Need some help from someone with more brains than me if you would!

    Fifa 09

I have to calm down now because I have just played the funniest game of Fifa in my life. Was 0-0 at half time (At. Madrid (me) vs. Chelsea) and I turned on my mic to ask him to skip the replays at the end of the half. Anyway, second half I go 2-0 up fairly enough, then he gets one back when I bring my Keeper out to the half way line. I have my mic on and I'm just like "owww that was a bit lucky!" and then he turns his on, and he is some foreigner absolutely screaming "SHUT UP YOU STUPID COCK SUCKER! YOU GOT FUCKING LUCKY! ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN YOU FUCKING C**T!!". So I give a bit back, but unfortunately it goes to 2-2 and extra time. He is still giving me shit, and he goes 3-2 up and carries on "YOUR JUST LUCKY SEE HOW IM FUCKING OWNING YOU NOW YOU FUCKER!" I tell him it isn't hard to select a 5 star team, abuse the auto aimed pass and just tap A all the way up to the goal then tap it again to have your player have a practically open net. Still he doesn't listen "YOU LIVE IN ENGLAND!? YOU SHOULD WATCH FUCKING FOOTBALL! THIS IS HOW THEY FUCKING PLAY!". I am absolutely pissing myself by this point, and I end up quitting early just because I can't quite stand anymore of his bullshit(I'm not normally an early quitter, may I add). I honestly didn't know that people got so angry at the game. I was honestly surprised at how loud he was screaming down his microphone :|
  22. Or maybe it shows that he is a decent businessman and after looking at the books and reviewing the club he has decided that Ashley has set too high an asking price?
  23. Just get it on the home shirt regardless?
