Spoke to the dipper gaffer yesterday and couldnt stop smiling at him whilst talking football He said if that Van Dijk tackle that give away the pen happened in the middle of the box it wouldn't have been given. But because it was out the box they gave it. Which I said thats the problem. The refs give so many fouls etc outside the box, but then shit their pants in the box. He started doing it because he was getting bad headaches through blood sugar spikes. He had seen a nuero specialist and they put him down for an MRI etc. The consultant mentioned a paper he had read on fasting. He (my mate) did some research and tried it and since then hasn't looked back. He has always cycled but was always a snacker so was never the whippet of the pack. Now he's one of the strongest. Even on the early morning rides he is fine.

I know a lad who's been doing the fasting stuff for probably close to 15 years now. It works for him and thats fine. I think whatever works for you and you're happy then that's all that matters. Like people have said. Eat healthy and exercise. Even if that's a 30 minute walk at least you're doing more than a large portion of people in the country.

A lad I have raced against many a time does a YT channel. Earlier this year he did a vlog of a low carb diet. He was wanking himself silly at the weight he lost. 30-40% of that will have been water! Then on other socials he was commentating he had fuck all legs at the end. Geeeeeeeeee I wonder why. Totally under fuelling himself for his sessions. We have mates who bang on about macro nuterients all the fucking time. They come over for dinner and they say 'oooo go easy on the carbs' yet they are happy to smash a bottle of wine in and some beers During the late winter / early spring up and down the country clubs come together for reliability rides. It is an historical thing where you would meet up and have a hard ride out ready for the racing season. Locally we have some of the hardest ones due to the level of riders we have here. He went out on one of the hardest one of the series. Goes out with the group with the pro's in which included a few Pro triathletes. He had under fuelled and ended up bonking 75km in. He was that bad he was slumped on the side of the road in mid march in the freezing weather fucked because had bonked that hard. They got an ambulance for the mad cunt
