  1. front foot pressing and releasing the ball in to spaces for runners is what he is good at. he is not a "6" (Bruno would be a shoe in for us as a deeper lying schemer, and can win the ball back. i'd say he is a really useful player for us, and has bought into the new role.
  2. Berardi is the player to go for there. actually just take both eh?
  3. he'd have an easier time at Milan as well. the games slower there, whereas the premiership is possibly something he needs to get accustomed to. he's not that mobile from what i've seen. strong and with good positional play, i may of course be wrong.
  4. you'd have thought he'd be able to afford a decent tee shirt. still, good news, a very good full back.
  5. is he all there? silly question i guess.
  6. true. basically, i'll get a game with this lot.
  7. not just curved runs for pressing, surely. good vid though.
  8. nice. who's next? that world class left back and centre back we need must be just round the corner.
  9. get both him and targett. very different players, but you'd use zinchenko in a possesion based system, whereas Targett would be useful more generally. think their displeasure at playing slightly fewer teams could be offset by a healthy wage. the other thing is if we could get cucurella from Brighton. he's a top player.
  10. absolutely wonderful player. get him signed.
  11. fair comment. he is a decent shot stopper, but if we are to play out from the back or have that as an option... then maybe he's not what we'd want.
  12. cuccurella and targett left backs? think we could spring cuccurella as i think he is basically the best of the rest and is supremely consistent (targett is very consistently good for us btw).... just thinking of injuries... Bissouma, would give bruno more freedom to roam. lodi? Paqueta a better centre forward than wilson ( or one that stays fit all season)... Josa Sa?/ henderson for goalkeeper or even nick pope?
  13. thats the thing, its a step up in terms of work rate etc. those numbers seem to point to him being a way better all round footballer than a pure dribbler. no real surprise. st max needs to change his game, but whether he will, i doubt it.
  14. there have been some forrific updates to club crests in the recent past. i do hope they give the fans a choice, at the very least.
  15. reckon 2 in any case. the lads very injury prone but still quality.
  16. isn't that always the way. reminds me of that Adel Taarabt (very probably spelt wrong) at QPR. they were reliant on him as we were when we were awful. similar results, the odd Worldy, the odd bit of magic, but really not much else and actually detrimental to a team... if he could be coached... he absolutely would be of benefit....
  17. i'm in agreement that he's technically proficient as a dribbler, and offered us an outlet when we were abject. his recent injuries have taken a toll and i think mentally his head isn't quite right, so he's behaving a bit childish. which ain't good. raw talent wise, he'd be ideal for a super sub, and can cause havoc with most of the sides outside of teams that press him effectively. its just the same old, final ball and decision making....
  18. Mitrovic is a prolific second tier striker and absolutely not what we need.
  19. he sold to the highest bidder? works out that person didn't give a stuff about the club. not really a surprise....
