Wow! What a ball by Simon Jones to get Clarke out for 39. Swung a country mile as Clarke was leaving it outside off. In the end it took off stump clean out of the ground as a perplexed Clarke was left there looking at the pitch. Amazing ball!

Or as my sister calls her, Delta Bad Hand. 12278 Why? Anything to do with that bloke she is going out with these days? Or cause she has been delt a bad hand over the years (pun not intended)?

Well Katshit (i call him that after he left WA for NSW!) never looked comfy out there. Probably didnt have to play a ball that was angled across his body but ah well. Cmon Gilly and Punter! We only need 252 off 56 overs, doesnt sound too bad when you put it like this does it?
-
Steve Bucknor seriously just retire! Clearly two noises, the ball went at right angles after it hit the bat onto the pad. Seriously how could he miss it? Worst decision ever! Apparently Marto might be on report now for comments but they would be seriously justified. What is with referees and umpires over this weekend? Could it be down to Englands constant appealling for balls that will be going down legside? Anyways Katich is in now lets hope he can stay around for awhile. 12361 Did you type that with a straight face? Coming from an Aussie, all I have to add to that remark is........ 12373 No didnt actually But seriously all those balls going down legside or too high and Jones and co are up in arms.

Surprised Geraint Jones caught it to be honest Hmmm we havent lasted a full days worth of overs all series, im going to go out here and say we are going to be down 2-1 at the end of the day
-
England 390 ahead, Flintoff just bowled by McGrath. Surely a declaration is just around the corner now! Cant be long left in the day and you would want a bowl at us before the end of the days play is gone. Will Vaughan stuff this up?
-
Fat Fred? Helicopter must be there to lift him out, surely?
-
Bartholomew the Sweet Little Little Willy Hmmm ive been told otherwise
-
Seems like it. Possibly take the lead towards 380 - 400 with about 10 overs remaining in the day and try and get an early wicket or two before the end of the day. Could be set for an interesting day tomorrow.

Clearly need a pacy striker alongside Shearer. Anelka would of been great with his pace and his strength. Left back we might need someone there aswell!
-
Shay 6.5 - Made some good saves but didnt really have much to do. Got a hand to the penalty though. Baba 5 - Did some good things but looked always under pressure and seemed to rush things at times. Once he gets fit i hope he will get better. Taylor 7 - Did well alongside Boum, Bramble is going to have his work cut out to get back into this side. Boumsong 8 - Good performance, whenever Henry had the ball Boum would be right behind him harrassing him and wanting the ball. At one stage in the first half he forced Henry back towards the half way line before knocking it out for a throw. Captain! Carr 6 - Some good runs down the flanks, did some good things but did some stupid things aswell eg some stupid fouls. Bowyer 6 - Tried hard all game. Tried to get into the box before Jenas got sent off, to help Shearer. Constant harassing etc Jenas 6 - Hard done by, didnt do much i guess we couldnt really give him a score. Parker 8.5 - Superb performance, blocked, plugged holes. England recall wont be far away just hope he stays fit. Emre 7 - Getting used to the English style, did well and put through some good passes. Let himself down at a couple of set pieces. Trickery before Jenas got sent off and got around a few players. Give him a few more games. Dyer 6 - Didnt really do too much.. well i didnt notice him too much anyways. Shearer 6.5 - Tried hard all day but after Jenas got sent off there wasnt much he could do against 3 Arsenal defenders! Zoggy, Faye and Milner werent on that long although i loved Milners work rate up front.

Correct. Once the lead is up to 300 we should try to blitz them then bowl at them all day tomorrow. 12045 This Aussie side if on their game can chase 300 down with ease. We have done it to Pakistan in Hobart before when chasing some absurd amount and im sure if they are in the right frame of mind they could do it again. Having said that the way we have played of late we will be out for 250 or so.

What a joke, red card, penalty, that corner that came off Henry the whole lot! Least the commitment was there to play for Newcastle United! Scotty Parker, once he is fully fit he will be a great assest to this club.
-
He will carve up against 14 year olds! Im pretty sure he could play reserves football. I think playing with 14 and 15 year olds will kill his confidence being placed so lowly!

Official Match thread: Arsenal V Newcastle
wellsy replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Thats what i was thinking -
Warne out for 90 He deserved 100, cracked the ball to deep square leg but just picked out whoever it was on the boundary. Aussies all out for 302.

It's a bit like Home and Away mate. That is to say how you look is generally more important than how well you can act. 11256 Neighbours is much, much better! I'd be lying if I said I didn't knock one out of that lesbian storyline involving Sky. 11360 I must admit i only watched Neighbours when Delta Goodrem was on there. She is gone so i dont watch it anymore.

Cheers appreciate it. In regards to calling Pakistan, Pakis. I dont really care the world has gone mad. I call Bangladesh the Bangers is that just as bad? No, move on. Anyways just my view on that. Vaughan would be silly to not enforce the follow on if we dont get past 245. Its all about keeping us under pressure.
-
We havent been forced to follow on since 1988 when we played the Pakis. Clarke has a rooted back and if he comes in i doubt it will be for long. Things are looking bad at the moment. Next test out - Gillespie, Clarke (if he isnt fit) and in Tait and Hodge. Im going to bed, have fun you pommy bastards
-
Holy fuck! What the fuck was that from Giles?
-
Would be interesting at the moment, our pitches are much quicker especially the WACA and the Gabba. I think Harmison and Flintoff could have a good time but having said that i think McGrath, Lee and even Gillespie would have the wood on your batsman on Australian pitches. We all remember what Harmison was like last time he was in Australia, wide, wide, wide, wide, wide, wide, wide, wide, wide, wide, four, wide
-
Hmm another one, Katich out. 4/115 Katich being brought up on WA pitches leaves a ball outside off, ball nips back takes the top of off stop with Katich not even playing a shot. Great ball Flintoff. We are in trouble. Marto and Gilly will save us. Cmon you West Aussie boys! Oh yeah and i just saw something on the coverage about a Merlin machine, which has re-created that Gatting ball by Warne. The England players use to practice against Warne. Anyone know anything more about this machine?

It's a bit like Home and Away mate. That is to say how you look is generally more important than how well you can act. 11256 Ah one of them. Amazing Home and Away has been going for so long over here yet i dont know anyone who watches it, probably more pimply teenage backing it i guess.

Heres me thinking we were talking about Ben Hollyoak and Adam Hollyoak the former English cricket stars born in Australia
