Good luck to him and I hope he comes through this phase. More to do with the people around him an his loneliness imo.

Well said Rocker. The nature of life is a lot of people love seeing people who try to make a go of things fail. I honestly think they'll be disappointed on this occasion. We won't be a rival to TT, because you have a steady base of loyal friends who use this site, and that will remain the case. There is however a gap in the market for a site like ours, and we already have incl. the site we're merging with approaching 100 good lads, who are knowledgable about Newcastle to start us off, the likes of NE5. Through various connections we've contacted TBP in the toon, NE5 is a senior writer in The Mag which could give us even greater exposure, and as I've said on an even playing field, we've got an excellent chance. We've done a lot in three days, and if people haven't got anything nice to say, it says more about them after three short days than it does about us. Regarding Baines, I KNOW this deal is more or less done, in 2 or 3 weeks time, I can genuinely say we had an exclusive after 2 days, do you know any other site that can claim that? We're going to try our best and that's all I can say really. I have never made up a story in the past, and to be fair I can see why people would claim I'm making this up, i.e exposure for our site, but genuinely this is not made up and has killed two birds with one stone. If I find out anything else which in fairness is far from guaranteed about other players, I'll put them on our board when the merger is complete, because it's pretty clear how welcome any information is on here. Stevie mate: In The Know: Rumour Review - 28th May By Parky On Mon 28 May 2007 | (edit this) Over the last week as Big Sam has swapped his mobile for a desk phone and as N.O. can reveal a longish conversation with Mr Ashley, the strained links of the two dozen or so players said to be targets is beginning to solidify. The white melting heat of the shock takeover and the raised hopes of the toon faithful is about to start seeing some product with regard to signatures which I hear will be coming thick and fast. Perhaps even before Ben Haim, the Wigan left back Leighton Baines and a favourite of this writer will be signing for around £4-5m with added extras, it transpires that he was top of our aquisiton list all along ... You speculating or you have a source? Pure speculationtasitc....based on a very unreliable source who lives in the South of France. That is why I'm more inclined than other to belive your source.

iirc it was a cigar. Luque morphs into Bartontastic.

It seems strange to me that Allardyce is happy to take a huge risk on a £5.5m nutcase and try to use pyschology to get the best out of him yet won't even give a current player who is an ex-Spanish international and cost us over £10m the time of day. He'd be better off concentrating on the players who we already have and may be worth keeping before recruiting more problems for himself. Speaking of which, more and more I hope for the Barton deal to fall through. The guy is a complete twat. Give him a chance man. Sam knows what he's doing.

Sam continues to get everything right.
-
Seconded. ....and I hope you're right with Baines mate. You probably are. Take two guns into the shower.

When have we been unreliable? Perhaps we should move to Southampton, talk constant shite, pose in ridiculous photographs cuddling cats whilst pulling delinquent faces, and genuinely not have a clue, perhaps then you'd consider us to have more credibility. This is getting like the last scene in Cassidy and the Sudance Kid.

There is actually a rather good chance Stevie boy is right iyam.

I always thought student unions were were ultra-pc gone mad. What with many and their 'affiliations' to various revolutions around the world and long speeches for Africa etc. "'Zionist' has become a word of opprobrium - all Jews are so labelled - and attacks on Jews rose with the occurrence of the Lebanon war - attacks on Jews in this country and elsewhere, not attacks on Israeli buildings," Lady Deech told peers. She added: "Once the equation is made between Zionism and Jews, anti-semites then feel free to attack all Jewish students without distinction. Protests start as attacks on Israel and conclude with threats to all Jews." http://education.guardian.co.uk/higher/new...2101283,00.html

I haven't seen it Renty. Anything good in there? It was a channel 4 doc from the Papperazzi's (sp?) perspective. It completely dispelled any conspiracy theory so you'd have hated it. Rubbish then. Let the new inquiry take its course I say. Two masonic lodges head to head.

No one can fuck with Dali. Florida-18-Dali....Who are you Quentin Crisp? We were staying nearby. Not sure if they really wanted to go but they thought it was class too. We managed to tag along with a guided tour which was very informative as there is so much going on in his paintings. I got a really good Dali book there too. The tour guide has a Dali moustache anarl. Florida and Dali is wasted on Americans.

Shame the government put the block on the Kard Bar selling shrooms. Much more user friendly. Probably a bit mellower and a lighter come down than an acid Problem with mushrooms is you can get a nice light trip or a big motherfucker, top of your head screws off, don't come out from under the covers for days trip. There is no quality control (ok that's an oxymoron in regard to drugs anyway but you know what I mean.) Plus they taste like shit. I remember years ago a party where the hosts made chocolate shrooms, melt chocolate place shroom in ice cube tray pour chocolate over freeze and eat. Anyway one dopey friend decides the chocolates taste good, so he helps himself to three before someone can stop him. No one saw him for three days and he has no recollection of most of that week. Shrooms are much nicer basically. -

What with all the hiatus regariding everyone and his dog wanting the Diana thing to be put to bed, including me, these are some pretty strange remenarks from Harry. Certainly not the official PR line. In extracts released yesterday, Harry says: "You know, when people think about it, they think about her death. They think about how wrong it was. They think about whatever happened ... whatever happened in that tunnel, you know, no one will ever know." Asked whether he had stopped wondering, the prince replied: "I'll never stop wondering about that." Clarence House officials stressed that the remarks meant that the prince would never stop wondering whether the crash in the Alma Tunnel in Paris could have been prevented and he was not speculating about the crash itself. http://www.guardian.co.uk/monarchy/story/0,,2101586,00.html

She does look like the type who's undergarments have that light piss aroma.

I deal with ease with the wallah's who sell the Hamburg version (sort of local events/ arty stuff)...Just tell them I don't read German. Bye.
-
I see you catwalk queens want all the benefits of late capitalism without the pains that go with it. It is in the interest of U.K. business wallahs to drive wages down.

I wonder if she ever sold that tent? Titled: "All the people I have loved" or summat. My theory is if you move to Hoxton, Camden or Notting Hill your head goes to mush.

Did anyone notice though? I recall one time I was standing out on a mates balcony staring up at a patchy night sky calling for people to come join me in "the mana from heaven" because it was spitting, but a friend thought I was asking her to join me on the balcony because of "the man from hebburn", she rushed out to see this wonder. there followed an hilarious (not for us mind) conversation which apparently was like the "Who's on first base" sketch with her demanding to know where this bloke was, me pointing to the sky and becoming more excitable with every repetition of her question. God, how dull people on drugs are if you're not -
I find myself in agreement. The 3d form seems too concrete lacking the scope for 'visual play'. In a sense there is less room for projection as there is in paintings where an emotional attachment can build slowly and perhaps be taken away.

Same here. It's always been 5 mill anyway...He makes like there's been a price hike.
