as i was scrolling down reading this thread, i was dying to ask that very same question what an amazing coincidence you've 'found' each other though cant believe you've both been posting on here all this time and didnt know though Weren't you on each others MSN then? Surely things you've both said on here in the past would have made you both twig before now? 123824 Didn't have a clue until today when he said he was terrorizing Gossy high street when Shearer signed for us, that and the fact he is a Liberal Democrat made me enquire. He made the connection about me knowing a lad who killed himself that he would have probably heard about but from that he would never have known who I was though. It's a funny old world. 123829 it certainly is! Next you will have to plan your reunion...and please post us piccys

Because often they simply cannot move faster due to arthritisor other illnesses. Or their thought process' arent as quick as they used to be! Not always the case though, one lady i care for is 90 and bright as a button...she's brilliant to be with, very independant and has so many wonderful memories....she still manages to be really with it and loves a laugh, infact she lives her life to the full. Her good health and a very alert brain helps very much of course. I wonder how it must really feel to be 90+ knowing your years are numbered... i think i'd be so totally miserable facing impending death that i'd miss out on enjoying what time i had left 123207 I think I'd worry about it too but I guess you change as you get older. I hope. But anyway, there's this bloke who lives opposite me who must be 80 or so. He seems to spend his life moving his car in and out the garage. Why? Hasn't he got better things to do? Older people tend to potter - I find it very curious. 123216 i used to find it curious too, but now i just find it annoying!! No, it comes to us all, old people do 'potter' and repeat themselves and worry unecessarily about unimportant things. Its old age im afraid, often dementia setting in causing memory loss and making it difficult to perform ordinary daily tasks

well, if we're talking personal gain here, im ordering Josh from QOTSA

Totally right there, I work with the elderly and I can tell you that some of them are the evilist (sp), nastiest, mean spirited, rudest spongers you can ever hope to meet!! They assume their age gives them a god given right to be rude and ungrateful to anyone they please! 123162 It's when they run you over with those damn shopping trolley things that really get me going... I have long advocated a "set" time people should be allowed to shop in the town; 8.30 a.m till 10.00 a.m - OAPS ( they are always up early anyway) 10.00 a.m till 12.00 - mothers with buggys who like to ram them into your heels and park them in the road whilst attempting to cross the street 12.00 till whenever for "ordinary" folk... 123172 Yes olds are always up early...i always say, why for gods sakes? i'd lie in if i could!! Im sure im in the wrong job

i like sainsburys, great choice but takes me way too long to shop there and i spend a fortune I like my local tescos best, its not a huge store so i can find what i want quickly, basically i just hate food shopping.
-
i would just like to say its good to see men on a football forum discussing the merits of various super-markets and posting their shopping tips

i have a lidl's just down the road from me but havent been in there for ages...might take a look now though I seem to remember they sell really yummy fruit chewy sweets in a huge bag!

He can have his final word (which they'll promptly delete anyway) to massage his dwarfly ego. Or quietly sign up as a new user? 122840 could he pull that off though? I doubt it! I registered there ages ago, dont think i ever posted, didnt like the look of it, painful on the eyes

I'm assuming it was a Torquay related board, then? Actually, it's a good question for something as localised as a football forum, where IPs are bound to overlap, at least occasionally. 122814 noo actually it was an Ipswich town forum...8 or 9 people had the same IP as me, and not many use tiscali or live in my area! 122830 Most people in East Anglia share the same genes, never mind IP addresses. 122832 that only applies to those from Norwich

No, the number is unique in terms of internet space, but when your router or modem contacts the ISP you are 'leased' one of their available IPs. That's how most people's works - dynamic IPs, but some people do have a static IP. There's also DNS which is kind of a naming system which identifies your location to the nearest router within an ISP, but again that could be shared. Wacky - if you clear your cache, delete cookies and reboot your router, are you allowed to sign up again on SMB? Either way you can definitely get back in with a proxy IP. 122827 But then, whats the point really? He wont be able to post as himself else they'll ban him again!!
