Another boring name actually its my son who registered so he can nick a few of the wonderful array of smilies we have on here (forgot he could have replied as a guest to a post in the help section and got them)!

I should point out maybe that that thing is actually a fair ground ride. You get up to the top of the mountain on a funicular railway much like the one Toonraider posted, except considerably longer I'd imagine. 107528 ah well...thats ok then, piece of piss (all i manage at fairgrounds/adventure parks is the dodgems or anything that stays firmly on the ground and doesnt involve spinning round in circles either)

I'm 2 hours drive from there and I've never been, must recify that next month! Looks like fun, I was on something similar in Germany when I was very young, think it was over the black forest. 107496 feel light headed just looking at that photo I am so pathetic

yes ive visited there a few times, amazing scenery. Stood at the bottom looking up at that cliff railway, now that one did look alarming

thats a good idea Renton..... 'gulp'

Was thinking today, i've lived here all my life and have never been on our cliff railway, so im going to be brave and go on it this summer Hopefully i'll live to tell the tale Would you go on one? my son says they are rickety dangerous things and no way would he!

thats a sweeping statement I use tiscali, nothing wrong with it, most reliable and cheapest ISP i've ever used! 106883 But you run a jar under a tap for 10 minutes instead of fetching a knife 107177 takes 1 minute and is so much easier....woman use their brains and obviously choose the better ISP
-
but thats not possible i mean, craig is so helpful

thats a sweeping statement I use tiscali, nothing wrong with it, most reliable and cheapest ISP i've ever used! 106883 Until something goes wrong and they cant be arsed with you as their home user margins are so slim. 106891 tbh after using freakserve (as it was then) for way too long and putting up with their shitty connections and completely useless 'helpline' I have to say Tiscali have been brilliant....never had a problem, only ever rang them once with a query and i got through right away to a person instead of an automated robot and i could understand what was being said!!!

Trying to find any in my area is virtually impossible now, whats it like in Newcastle or where you live? My old dental practice is private now, i did a search of the nearest NHS surgeries taking on new people and the nearest was in Cornwall followed by Yeovil and Somerset Oh well, i havent got any choice, i'll have to go private and maybe set up a monthly plan thingy

I had a holiday in Torquay when I was about 12 and remember the daft hills - how much do those flats on the cliff top go for these days? 105700 yes Torquay is built on seven hills!! Those flats are luxury apartments....think they go for about 300k 106070 Heres a couple of pics of torquay harbour at night....at least Torbay council (the tight gits) leave the lights on all year round now. Makes for a very pleasant evening stroll.
