Well I presume Gallacher knows the chords - he just feels more comfortable with a few rather than many - though I think Oasis were always limited lyrically as well - He wrote some good lines but repeated them too many times.

We've won one home game since the start of December (2 since the Derby win in October) - why are people surprised we're approaching deep shit? 8 games left and 3 are non-starters - if we lose to Wolves I think its a serious possibility.

I don't think we should be criticised for at least making the decision to take the lead and do something, rather than allow these problems to get bigger and continue. We don't know how Libya will work out, nobody does, but doing nothing is no good to anybody, because eventually something will have to be done. The thing is the arms industry isn't just like any other though - its massively subsidised (and actually doesn't make much money at all) because the government uses it politically to make friends with countries - fair enough if they are decent countries, unfortunately nearly all the decent countries make their own weapons so you end up selling to Saudi, Iraq and the rest. You wouldn't have to go into places and put lives at risk if these people weren't armed in the first place. I know the argument goes if we didn't supply them someone else would which is true but you have to start somewhere and as I also mentioned it makes you less of a hypocrite if you don't end up fighting against people armed with your weapons. I honestly think there would have been more support for the Iraq war if it had been sold simply as a moral action rather than do it by lying - especially about our past relations. Gaddafi Duck and his family on a 'plane to S.America? the UK will give him a council house, police protection, a new identity and all the benefits for the next 20 years. Or the rich and powerful who have been fine with taking his money for years for property in London could simply allow him to live in one of his many houses.

My point was that the crime rates in this country don't correlate to immigration they correlate to poverty which is why the North East which compared to the rest of the country has very few blacks still has a high crime rate - is that too hard to understand? We can argue about how many "virtually none", "plenty" and "a few" are all night but I stand by the comparison - compared to other areas which have similar crime rates the NE has almost no immigrants so you can't, no matter how much you'd like, say that immigration increases crime. Unless of course you or Wacky wants to say that Byker was a crime free paradise before the blacks moved in of course.
