This is why I'd sooner have Owen. Kuyt is just as likely to be another Kezman than another van Nistelrooy. At least with Owen you know what you're getting.

Hmmm, I understand what you are saying - but I think Kuijt is more in the Van Nistlerooy / Shearer mould... He is more of a strong, hard hitting power forward than someone relying on deft touches and speed.

Carr solid?

He's garbage, Aaron Hughes is better and that is saying something.

He can certainly attack and cross, but his defending is more comical than solid IMO.

Always fouling at every given opportunity as well.

Mind you, Taylor still has a lot to go before becoming a top class central defender. He showed that in the Villa game last year.

I always thought he was a full-back though.

That would probably be my biggest gripe with him.

Well, that and the fact that he's a shambolic liability at times.

Yeah. I know he was playing at right-back when Carr was out and the central defence normally had Bramble, O'Brien and later Boumsong ahead.

BUT we will have to sell jenas to fund the move because feyenoord want 12 million and Tottenham got a 10 million bid rejected and so did everton.

Fingers crossed

I hope so. Good riddance to the Bling apprentice. Arsehole. B)

I heard Everton offered 10 million but Spurs offered 8 million and Edman.

I would have thought if Spurs were gonna get him he'd have signed by now.
