adios 717 Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 A good post by someone on the SMB entitled 'Why i'm gutted Big Sam has taken the Newcastle job' That said I firmly believe Keane can do an equally good job here, and it would be good to see Sunderland and Newcastle have rivalry for a place in Europe and not just for being 13miles apart. Toonraider 0 Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 Well I'm chuffed to bits, that was well worth getting up at 1pm for...and made the more enjoyable by watching FF grimacing and pulling faces while he looked on (anyone know how he did it)? I rekon he's lost some weight too. Anyhow, back to Sam, for the first time in absolutely ages I feel optimistic, I just knew GS and GR wouldnt work out but I have a gut feeling Sam really is the answer--given the time to do it. I like his confidence and the fact he will take no shit, he's good at handling the media too and has an air of assurance I like. Thank god he mentioned addressing our injury problems, people talk about this endlessly but no one ever did anything. Sam seems very ambitious too, another plus for us I hope Sam gives the whole club a really good shake up and brings in some cleaner, fresher air there.
