This is how i see soaps Corrie-For the closet gays/Ladies Hollyoaks-For the teenagers/Single men. Neighbours-Students / Old ladys. It bizarrely tries to take itself seriously and markets itself as a reflection of real life yet, in the admittedly few episodes I've seen, I've yet to watch an episode without a slagging match and someone crying... now I don't mind drama and I don't even mind a little melodrama nowand again, but fuck me sideways, this is ugly people bemoanign the fact their lot in life is shit, the light at the end of the tunnel is either an impressive death or moving to fucking Manchester!
