Jusoda Kid 1
KEY MEASURES Delay 2p rise in fuel duty for six months 6% increase in alcohol tax - with 2% annual rise for next four years 4p on pint of beer, 3p on cider, 14p on wine, 55p on spirits 11p on packet on 20 cigarettes, 4p on five cigars £950 higher first year rate of road tax for most polluting cars Increase in green tax on flights Winter fuel payment up to £250 for over-60s and to £400 for over-80s Require supermarkets to charge for plastic bags if they do not scrap them More cash to tackle child poverty Help with rising energy costs for poorer families Fuck me you wouldn't want to be buying a brand new 4x4 Best news of all though IMO. Shit. My dads got two Brand new ones?? I notice it does imply its £950 for the first year tax rate so i presume its a measure to try to put people off buying new ones rather than attacking those who already own them? Ah right they are years old i suppose, one is about 45 years old imported from Japan IIRC Thats your mother you stupid boy

Happy Face 29
It's funny watching the news. A packed house of commons for the budget, a half full house for Camerons response, and just the speaker sat there listening to Clegg.
WubbleUC 0
Fact is though, massive duty increases on alcopops etc would probably have the effect of making them unaffordable to kids so even if the motives are ulterior you can still make a strong case for it. "Kids." I've witnessed that picture of you with Luke sipping your Smirnoff Ice or something similar. Here man you're just proving my point. Luke lost it that night on alcopops-went completely radg and wouldn't calm down until he had a kebab inside him and Greg had drunk so much tart fuel he thought he could fly (down the stairs of 5th Ave). That was your round in the picture actually, you berk! I cannit eat kebab meat anyway, it comes straight back up. Chicken Kebabs alreet though but. As for the budget, not arsed really, we all knew it was going to happen. It's going to be a fucking tenner for a Vodka Red Bull soon, which is scandalous Ibiza territory. Glad I stopped drinking that as much! Edited March 13, 2008 by WubbleUC

Fop 1
I'd walk a million miles for one of those smiles tbh. Well to actually get one of those smiles all you'd have to do is get selected in a safe seat then take the train and claim travelling expenses. Are you Bridget's Careers Guidance Counsellor by any chance? Alex probably thinks so. I think Fop is Bridget Shh.... Penfold.

Even with the road tax raise (never mind this tax raise) I still doubt it'll be enough to put off the idiots that currently have them as a town car. And it'll still hammer people that have them out of town (and I can't see the extra "green" tax revenue being used to clear, grit or even in some cases rebuild their roads). Of course the irony is IF all the big engined vehicles out there suddenly disappeared, there'd be another HUGE tax hole from their "road" tax and all the tax from their running costs, so making the Government put up taxes on ALL cars again to claw back its revenue (which is what will happen anyway one way or another). Reminds me of a bus company that moved into a town and offered "free" bus routes for a couple of months, until it put the major competing bus company out of business, then it started charging DOUBLE the fares that the original company had for the same routes a few months before. People never learn.

Happy Face 29
They've bailed out the banks, will they bail out the rest of us? Vat down to 15% Booze tabs and petrol duty up so no change. NI up Highest rate of income tax up Inject an extra £20bn into the economy, or 1% of GDP, funded in part by an extra £5bn in efficiency savings and a big increase in government borrowing That's a no then. Iridium was chosen to encapsulate the plutonium-238 fuel in the generator because it can withstand the operating temperatures of up to 2000 °C and for its great strength.[2"
